The ideas that I usually shared generally have and argument in common, I find a strong Industry and I pick stocks in this Industry or Sector that are bullish, In this series of ideas, called (Bullish Oil_Futures = Energy Companies) The Fundamental concept is that Bullish Oil_Futures represent higher earnings in the future for this type of companies, but Not all Energy companies are reacting well to this concept that sound very logic and easy to understand, I am not an Economist but the logic say that if Oil_is bullish, energy companies earn more, but again I repeat not all energy companies are strong And here is where is important how to pick stocks, remember that I constantly repeat that I not use stock screener to find ideas, in this case I follow 94 well know Energy Companies and I watch one by one and then, I do a Hot List of Energy companies and finally I post this idea From 94 companies I select 26 and then I reduce my list to 10 or 14 companies, It's like a colander and the technical concept is Support and Resistance I always work with this concept, but in this case there are a bonus in this idea for people who like Classic Technical Analysis Look the "bearish trend line breakout" this was a 3 Years 7 Months bearish trend line broken almost 4 Years The reason I always post from weekly charts is that I have a big picture view and from here is more easy to identify the direction of the price.
