AUDUSD Trade Recap 21st July 2023
Short position taken on AUDUSD, held over the weekend and was taken out on Monday NY open for +2%.

**Pre-Trade**
I have been forecasting this setup and it is now showing its hand, this is where I need to act and understand it can still win or lose and that I have no control over that. Let experience come through and my knowledge, just look at price action and allow it to tell me a message, from the HTF down it all makes sense to take.
**During Trade**
Knowing I had forecasted this trade and it had now shaped up, I had fully accepted the risk that come with the trade. Once I was tagged in I was calm, focused and under control of my thoughts, feelings, and actions. Whatever price done I was happy with, as I backed up my thesis and decision making up to this point.
**Post-Trade**
Very happy with the decisions made with this position, from the forecasting through to the execution. These are the quality of decisions I need to be making every position, as my emotions were settled, and my error thoughts were fully under control. I know this feeling; I have felt it before in the past and know this is how I should be feeling EVERY time.
