The Infamous Boeing: Accidents Weigth on Price

Dear Esteemed Members,

Boeing’s stock price has also dropped by 8.5% since Monday after a plane had to make an emergency landing after a part of its fuselage ripped off mid-air. Another plane was grounded after a window fell out during takeoff. Alaska Airlines decided to inspect all Boeings.

The competition from Airbus, which has secured a deal with the US Air Force to provide 20 A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport aircraft for $3.5 billion. This deal could give Airbus an edge over Boeing in the military aviation market, and also boost its reputation and revenue.

Kind Regards,
Ely
Note
Some people tell me BA has strong fundamentals, and the recent bearish news is nothing more to trap bears before Boeing starts moving upwards. I know that markets can swiftly recover from bearish news, and the recent events probably won't leave a lasting scar on Boeing's fundamentals, but I believe US stocks, in general, can experience a bearish trend. I don't write it because BA would be that poor compared to similar stocks, but I think stocks will commonly descend lower.
Note
I'm not sure if it already shows up in your time frame, but daily BA is −8.03%. I believe that means this analytics was at least partially correct.
Note
I speculated bears would take advantage of the BA reputational loss, which has happened, but in the end, I believe BA's trend will align with the general stock markets' trend. I monitor competitors as well.
Trade closed: target reached
Congratulations on the winning trade! Boeing Company crossed the target price ($205.2), completed the analytics, and continued its venture in the predicted "short" direction.
