Here's a breakdown of the pattern's characteristics:
Three consecutive candles: The pattern is formed by three candles that appear one after the other.
Long bodies: Each candle should have a long body, indicating strong buying pressure. Higher closes: Each candle should close higher than the previous one, forming a staircase-like pattern.
Small or no upper shadows: Ideally, the candles should have minimal or no upper shadows, suggesting that the bulls were in control throughout the trading session.
Small lower shadows: Small lower shadows on the candles indicate that the bears had little impact on the price.
(The only caveat to the tradional pattern is that this usually occurs after a downtrend)
