Ethereum Classic got 51% attacked.
It should have died, but it didn't.
Why.
Try looking back at those crypto that exists in 2013, together with Litecoin and Bitcoin, and see whether they exist or not.
Here are some reasons why Crypto continue to exist:
1. Unlike stocks, crypto is not regulated, therefore, someone can just come in and mine this blockchain, and they can even pump these coins.
2. Continue to be traded on exchanges. Even Bitconnect continue to be traded several months after their exit.
3. The presence of big whales supporting the coins/projects.
What are the best way to deal with crypto? If you don't understand the beast, don't touch it. Simple.
Another reasons why a lot of people got burnt, long and short, because they are playing with fire.
It is better to not touch a fire rather than trying to play around with fire.
