During the Asian session on Friday, the GBP/USD pair slightly increases and distances itself from the lowest point it reached in the past week and a half, which was around the 1.2840-1.2835 range. However, there isn't much momentum in terms of buying or a strong belief in an upward trend, and currently, the pair is trading around the 1.2880 range, with a modest increase of just over 0.10% for the day.
