I've been thinking...
The problem is if I avoid big news events I'll never take trades.
Just have to deal with the "noise" etc.
Some brokers make it easy, they have calendars and everything.
Some news are listed as "high risk".
I wish I could find a broker that filters for only the "very high risk" and I can get a little window somewhere on my screen where I see the very high risk and that only.
Otherwise I would have to hire a team to keep me informed about the news and the risk lol...
Even if I use another broker for most of my trades I could have one which only tells me the really important news.
TV does not separate events in high or low risk, and there are some sites with calendars but nothing as good as a few brokers I know...
Forex Factory calendar does show the impact yellow/orange/red.
And also what currencies will be impacted.
I am not day trading, I target around 1 ATR, between half an ATR and 2 ATR,
I wish I was not impacted with all this sadface.
I didn't get into trading to have 20 screens and work hard.
I wish I could avoid this by having long holding periods of at least over 8 hours...
I guess posting on trading view is a good start, kind of forces me to have a process.
I could also since I am taking the time to post an idea check broker/forexfactory calendars make sure everything's all right. Takes like 5 minutes...
So I think you can expect more trade ideas from me, like 5 a week, I'll mention what the TF is, but don't expect me to always post targets or my exit the very second I exit and everything I do.
