Why we can keep going? 1) HOT, is the IDEA of a fully distributed internet. This paves the way for TEE, for someone to implement an improved version of Kademlia in a concurrent language like Rchain or Go, lastly rumor has it that it is possible to tape out a chip that can do simple quantum stuff like a consensus engine for our concerns, full quantum computing is decades away. When you combine these ingredients around a product, it become possible for HOT to evolve into something like Apple. I think this may be the moment in time for such an idea. Like the Iphone 4 vs the new 11/12, app store, the Apple ecosystem evolved.
2). IMHO, Utility outpaces store-of-value because it can be both, even though both rise at the same time. HOT is the evolution of a Linux appliance server, 1st called Mitel server, then SME Server and now wiki.contribs.org/Main_Page I have used it since 2006. SME Server will run on Pentium 3. HOT means everyone can play.
