I have published previously on the silver/gold ratio. Silver is bound to outperform gold over time. The question is whether platinum will outperform silver and gold, or underperform both metals. Watch the dotted line for a breakout. If anyone has interesting research on platinum please post in comments below or pm me (fundamental or historical is preferred).

954 is technical resistance in platinum. Watch current level.

Trade active

The rally has begun. Take your positions. Major breakout is near. This is not a suggestion to go long platinum and short other metals, but to go long platinum AND other metals, with an overweight position in platinum.

Long platinum from 890 March contract and 925 April contract.

This trade is still in play. I just back into platinum after a long time being out of it (and short it). I can't believe its been 1.5 years since I've touched on this. Sometimes markets take very long to develop into an ideal entry. Let's see if this is it... Till next year?
