A clear display that CAD is down for USD, below is the previous post about USDCAD, the uptrend has been looked to still hold till $1.41058, but before that should be noticed say a minor resistance zone at $1.37800.
According to wave analysis (Elliott wave), WXY Pattern is a combination pattern that it end determine whether the move be a sharp or sidewalk movement i.e zigzag as end is often followed by an aggressive movement upwards as in this case.
Secondly, the Falling channel/wedge(major) in a falling channel(minor) is as well indicated and a confluence to the first note.
