VIX-Is opening this week at 19.29 a sign?

All Indices are in the green pre-market...the VIX gaps up 3.04% to open the week at 19.29. Very Eerie....

Below is my weekly chart on the VIX...Notice the purple channel that has formed since the end of Oct. If we can break below this channel then volatility will reduce and likely higher highs will be made in Q1 2022. If we remain in this channel prepare yourself for whipsaws.
