XAUUSD The gold price is currently trading without a clear direction as investors are now paying more attention to the upcoming US inflation data. There are concerns among investors that any potential increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) could raise the chances of the Federal Reserve implementing a final interest rate hike.
Although it is possible that the US economy may avoid going into a recession, there is also a possibility that higher interest rates could have a negative impact on economic prospects.
