My Most Used TradingView Hotkeys!Just wanted to highlight a few of my most-used TradingView hotkeys:
ALT + H: Horizontal line – Ideal for marking round numbers or mark tight support/resistance areas. For broader S&R zones, I often use the rectangle tool.
ALT + V: Vertical line – Rarely use it, it’s handy for highlighting specific dates below the chart.
ALT + T: Trendline – Provides quick access to one of the most essential tools for analyzing long-term stock movements.
[* ]ALT + I: Invert the chart – Probably the most interesting hotkey! If you find it challenging to take "SELL" setups or tend to prefer "BUY" ideas, flipping the chart can reveal a fresh perspective. If your bias remains unchanged after inverting, it may be a solid setup for you. This can help reduce psychological biases; sometimes, just viewing it from another angle makes all the difference.
ALT + S: Take a screenshot – An easy way to share your chart with friends or colleagues.
ALT + F: Fibonacci tool – I’m using it less often lately, but it’s still there when needed.
ALT + W: Add to watchlist – Quickly adds interesting charts to your watchlist.
ALT + A: Set an alert
SHIFT + CLICK: Measure tool – Instant access to measure distances or changes on the chart.
Hopefully, this helps save you a bit of time hunting for these tools. After all, time is money!
Regards,
Vaido

Activate the alarm function when touching the set indicator
Hello, traders.
If you "Follow", you can always get new information quickly.
Please click "Boost" as well.
Have a nice day today.
-------------------------------------
One of the good things about using TradingView charts is that you can use the alarm function.
This alarm function has a limit on the number depending on the plan you use, so please check it out.
I will take the time to explain the alarm function using my chart.
It is hard, boring, and tedious to just look at the chart until you meet the desired trading point or criteria.
If you do that, you may end up making a wrong trade or missing the trading period while doing something else.
If you create an alarm and change the Value section to the HA-MS_BW indicator, multiple indicators will be displayed.
The indicators currently activated on the chart are HA-Low, HA-High, BW, and M-Signal indicators on the 1D chart, so you can select BW or HA-Low, LH, LL and check if the alarm turns on when they cross.
When looking at the 15m chart, since it is moving sideways in the box section of the HA-Low indicator, if you set it to LH, LL indicator, the alarm will come when you touch the upper or lower point of the box.
Then, you can use it conveniently when you want to trade within the box section.
If you want to trade in a large trend, I think it would be good to set the alarm to turn on when you touch the 5EMA on the 1D chart.
Or, you can set the alarm to turn on when the OBV indicator breaks through the high (HH) or low (LL) line upward.
If you are a paid member of TradingView, I highly recommend using the alarm function.

Have a good time.
Thank you.

The real uptrend is expected to start after it rises above 29K.
The area expected to be touched in the next bull market is 81K-95K.

We need to check if these points can be broken upward.
We need to check the movement when this section is touched because I think a new trend can be created in the overshooting section.

Maximise Your Trading Success 3 Essential Tips for Setting AlertSetting alerts in trading is crucial for effective risk management and maximising opportunities. Here are three key reasons why you should set alerts:
1. Timely Response to Market Movements:
Proactive Trading: Alerts enable traders to respond promptly to significant market movements, ensuring they don't miss critical entry or exit points. This is particularly important in the highly volatile markets, where prices can change rapidly.
Automation: Automated alerts reduce the need for constant monitoring, allowing traders to focus on analysis and strategy while being notified of important market events.
2. Risk Management:
Stop-Loss and Take-Profit Alerts: Alerts can help enforce disciplined trading by reminding traders to execute their stop-loss or take-profit orders, thus limiting potential losses and securing profits.
Risk Mitigation: By setting alerts for specific price levels or economic events, traders can better manage risk and avoid significant losses due to unforeseen market changes.
3. Enhanced Trading Efficiency:
Focus on Strategy: Alerts allow traders to concentrate on their trading strategy without being glued to their screens all day. This can lead to more thoughtful decision-making and reduced emotional trading.
Opportunities Identification: Alerts can be set for various technical indicators or chart patterns, helping traders to identify and act on potential trading opportunities more efficiently.
Setting alerts in forex trading enhances your ability to respond to market changes quickly, manage risk effectively, and improve overall trading efficiency.
How to Send Alerts from Tradingview to Telegram I found a new way for sending alerts from tradingview to telegram channel or telegram group by using webhook. I’ve been looking for a while and most of the ways had problems. Some of them had delays in sending the alerts and were not secure because they were using public bots. Some of them required money and were not free. Some of the ways needed coding knowledge. The way I recommend does not have these problems.
It has three simple steps:
1. Creating a telegram channel or group;
2. Creating a telegram bot by using botfather;
3. Signing in/up in pipedream.com.
I made a video for presenting my way. I hope it was helpful and if you have any questions make sure to comment so I can help you.
Thank you!
HOW-TO: Execute closed-source script alerts via TradingConnectorHOW-TO: Auto-Execute closed-source script alerts using TradingConnector
(Assuming alerts don't match required syntax and script author won't adjust)
TradingView hosts numerous Pine-Scripts with alerts generated by those scripts. Oftentimes, you discover an indicator or strategy with promising parameters, and to top it off, the alerts trigger precisely when needed. It feels as though the entire setup is pleading, "Automate me!"
However, there's a challenge. Many times, these scripts are closed-source, and the alert messages they produce don't align with the execution service's syntax requirements. Moreover, the script author may not be inclined to modify these alerts.
Introducing the "Search&Replace Alerts Modifier" Module
TradingConnector has recently introduced the “Search&Replace Alerts Modifier” module, offering a solution to this issue. This module acts as a bridge between alerts generated by closed-source scripts and the expected syntax of TradingConnector. By intercepting alerts fired from TradingView, the Alerts Modifier adjusts them using a familiar Search&Replace mechanism. Consequently, these alerts are aligned with the required syntax before being forwarded for execution in MetaTrader.
Configuring the Alerts Modifier is straightforward. Users only need to specify two strings of text for Search&Replace: one to identify within the incoming alert and the other to replace it in every occurrence.
Example Scenario
Consider an alert generated by a closed-source script:
{"id": 1701248700,"symbol": "XAUUSD","command": "short tradesymbol=XAUUSD lot=0.01","time": 1701248700}
This alert, in its current form, wouldn't be parsed by TradingConnector due to the absence of an expected keyword like short . It contains a partial occurrence of the term ( "...mind": "short" ) that wouldn't be recognized.
Processing this alert through the Search&Replace Alerts Modifier, with a specification to replace " symbol with a plain space , transforms the alert into a recognizable format:
{ id : 1701248700, symbol : XAUUSD , command : short tradesymbol=XAUUSD lot=0.01 , time : 1701248700}
Now, the distinct short keyword is recognizable, enabling the alert's execution in MetaTrader. Moreover, irrelevant words ( time, id, symbol, command ) or strings ( :1701248700, XAUUSD ) are intelligently ignored without causing any disruption.
Customization and Flexibility
Users can configure multiple search&replace pairs of strings, facilitating comprehensive customization to accommodate various alert formats and syntax variations.
By incorporating the "Search&Replace Alerts Modifier" alongside TradingConnector, traders can seamlessly handle alerts from closed-source scripts that diverge from the expected syntax. This module acts as a pivotal tool, reconciling these discrepancies and enabling the automated execution of alerts in MetaTrader without necessitating modifications to the original scripts.

Clarifying "Once per bar" and "Once per bar close" alert optionSince I can't find any official documentation about this, I am posting this to help others like me who struggled sorting this out.
When creating an alert, be it a custom alert or not:
- "Once per bar" will not wait the bar close to trigger the alert. If the condition is triggered once but ends up to be false at bar close, the alert will have triggered but will not show on the chart and backtest.
- "Once per bar close" will wait for bar close to trigger the alert. With this option you are sure to stick with the backtest and avoid less strong signals, but waiting for bar close might reduce profits.
