3 Things To Do After You Lose A TradeWe have all been there. You analyze a trade setup. You know how much you're going to risk on a trade. You enter the trade just to come back to your chart and find you've been stopped out.
It's not fun. It sucks. You thought the setup would work because you followed you rules. The thing is, the market is the market.
In my early stages of trading I hated being stopped out. My reasoning was because. I had no idea how to make up for my loss.
I thought if I just plotted more lines and levels on my chart I could enter the trade again and make my money back.
The problem I kept running into was I had no idea why I lost the trade or how to handle my feelings. I also had no real plan on how to adjust to the price change.
I honestly thought my levels or trend lines didn't work. It was deeper than that.
What changed?
I had to change the way I viewed the market and my next steps to recover my loss. Not only that, I had to learn how to be "ok" with losing money.
I created a 3 Step Process that would increase my probability of winning my next trade. Because we are a trading family, I thought I'd share it with you.
Step 1: Access my previous trade
You hear this all the time, "I made a mistake thats why I lost the trade." The true question is did you really make a mistake or did you follow your trading rules?
When I follow my rules no mistakes are made. When I lose a trade that can mean 1 thing. The market reversed. This leads me to step 2.
Step 2: Change my bias
In the book The Unknown Market Wizards by Jack Schwager, I heard the most beautiful and profound statement by one of the wizard traders. He said, "I realized I have a right to change my mind about my trade at any time."
I can't tell you how that made me feel. I've been doing that all along, but this market wizard summed up my actions in just one sentence.
When I'm stopped out that means I have to change my mid about the direction of the trade. I made being stopped out so simple so I won't confuse the next action I should take. That leads me to step 3, update my chart and adapt to the new price movement.
Step 3: Update and Adapt
I have a no nonsense rule and that is to stop trading in 1 direction if I'm stopped out. Go opposite. I'm a true trend trader. I don't naturally trade against the trend. It gets me in trouble.
So at the first sign of trouble, I adapt.
See, USDCHF was in a downtrend.
I sold the trade at 0.92835( sell limit) and overnight I was stopped out. It happened so fast and just as fast as I was stopped out, I knew I had to become the buyer.
My Mental
In the recent past, being stopped out would have spooked me. Now, its making me want to come back to the charts to face my fear. I used to have a fear of success and failure. Now I have a hunger to want to succeed and learn.
Putting on trades is a bit more fun since I've began working with pending orders. They challenge me. Especially in situations when price reverses and I'm stopped out.
I pray you gained new insight and a key takeaway on what you can do next after you lose a trade.
Just remember, losing a trade doesn't make you a loser, it makes you a trader.
Comment down below what your takeaway was. I'd appreciate it if you could like the post. It helps boost my Trading view reputation. Much love,

BEAM Indicator From ScratchHi, traders!
BTC today makes many people nervous, especially freshmen. That's why we decided to tell you about one of the easiest to use indicators - BEAM.
BEAM helps identifying times when buying and selling Bitcoin are the most probable to be profitable. It’s extremely easy to interpret and understand its signals. In general, BEAM divides the price of Bitcoin at any given moment to a moving average of past prices. This makes price trends more clearly visible.
The BEAM parameters are easy to tune. You can adjust the cycle length, the asset divisor as well as buy and sell thresholds.
There are three types of zones. A green buy zone indicates that it would be wise to buy. A red sell zone makes clear that selling might be a good idea. A gray hold zone signals that it is advisable to keep on holding even if the price already seems rather high.
BEAM works with other crypto currencies that are at least 3-4 years old, because they are highly correlated with Bitcoin itself and follow Bitcoin’s cycle.
The BEAM indicator is not meant to be used to make buy or sell decisions on its own. It should be used as one tool among many in a big arsenal of indicators and other types of signals. BEAM has no absolute predicting power. There is no 100% guarantee that it will still work in future. Indicators and models can only be constructed retroactive. As the future is not fixed, they always fail to work after some time.

TOP 5 Tools To TradeHi traders!
Working process of any trader is usually related with usage of different tolls. These tools are invnted to make traders’ life easier. For instance, you shouldn’t just build lines of support and resistance by yourselves, just choose 3 main points and use Fib ExtensionMany of you asked us, what tools we usually use in our daily stuff. Well, we use many different indicators, oscillators and other tools like Fiba, Pivots and so one. Today, we’ll give TOP-5 tools, that’ll make your trading activity easier and more efficient.
Fibonacci retracement
Fibonacci retracement levels are horizontal lines that indicate where support and resistance are likely to occur. They are based on Fibonacci numbers. Each level is associated with a percentage. The percentage is how much of a prior move the price has retraced. The Fibonacci retracement levels are 23.6%, 38.2%, 61.8%, and 78.6%. While not officially a Fibonacci ratio, 50% is also used.
The indicator is useful because it can be drawn between any two significant price points, such as a high and a low. The indicator will then create the levels between those two points.
Suppose the price of a stock rises $10 and then drops $2.36. In that case, it has retraced 23.6%, which is a Fibonacci number. Fibonacci numbers are found throughout nature. Therefore, many traders believe that these numbers also have relevance in financial markets.
How to use?
Put the first point to lower low, the second to the higher high or vice versa.
Fibonacci extension
Fibonacci extensions are a tool that traders can use to establish profit targets or estimate how far a price may travel after a retracement/pullback is finished. Extension levels are also possible areas where the price may reverse. Fibonacci extensions are a way to establish price targets or find projected areas of support or resistance when the price is moving into an area where other methods of finding support or resistance are not applicable or evident.
To study it accurately, read our Fiba Extension From Scratch (link in the description).
Pivot Point
A pivot point is a technical analysis indicator, used to determine the overall trend of the market over different time frames. The pivot point itself is simply the average of the intraday high and low, and the closing price from the previous trading day. In fact, price above the pivot point is thought to indicate ongoing bullish trend, while price below the pivot point indicates bearish one.
The pivot point is the basis for the indicator, but it also includes other support and resistance levels that are projected based on the pivot point calculation. All these levels help traders see where the price could experience support or resistance. Similarly, if the price moves through these levels it lets the trader know the price is trending in that direction.
Commonly, traders use Pivot Points as support and resistance levels as well as stop-loss levels. In the combine with oscillators (MFI, OBV, etc.) and Fiba levels we invent efficient strategies.
Ichimoku
One of the most informative indicator in world of trading. It can give you both support/resistance levels and sell buy signals. Out crew uses it every day. However, many traders consider it rather difficult to interpret. If you want to know more about it and use it as efficient as it’s possible, check out our articles (link in description)
Pitchfork
Andrews' Pitchfork can be used by traders to establish profitable opportunities and swing possibilities. On a long-term basis, Pitchfork can be used to identify and gauge overall cycles that impact underlying spot activity.
In general, traders will purchase the asset when the price falls near the support of either the center trendline or the lowest trendline. Conversely, they'll sell the asset when it approaches the resistance of either the center line or the highest trendline. Even though the center line can be used to identify areas where a security may find support or resistance, it is generally not as strong as the two outside lines. In practice, the levels identified by this indicator are very useful for identifying strategic positions for stop-loss orders.
To apply the pitchfork, you should choose the pivot of “trend start” (A on the chart). Than, chose the significant maximum(B on the chart) and significant minimum.

How to be a Successful Forex trader Segment 1FIRST HAVE A PLAN .
Better yet, have 2 Plans!
Most traders have a trade plan, that will tell them when to get in and when to get out (or at least it should and I will cover that in the next segment)
What a lot of Trader's don't have and really need, is an account management plan.
An Account Management Plan is necessary to keep you from causing too much damage on bad days, to having a positive outcome on so-so days and a Great out come on the good days. In short, it will protect your account and allow it to flourish :)
1. How to do you handle the bad days? Unfortunately, we all have them but limiting their impact is crucial to your long term trading success. Personally, I risk 2% of my capital per trade and usually only take 1 sometimes 2 trades per day. so the most I will ever lose in a day is 4%. which is okay because the majority of my trades have a 3-1 RRR or better, so I can make that up in 1 trade. Might i suggest, limiting your daily losses to a percentage that you can make up in a single day/session. You don't want to spend days trying to recoup losses from a single day.
2. How do you turn the so-so days into a positive: On day's where the market does not do what you expect, you need to recognize that and hopefully bank some profit or at the very least, cause no damage to your account. Sitting on the sidelines patiently waiting for a good trade is a lot better than being in a bad trade. Today was a So-So day for me. As illustrated in the above chart, I took a pullback trade with an entry at 1.8318. it took a lot of heat and almost got stopped out, but I stuck with my stop loss and the trade came back and dropped down to the bottom of my Asian box, where I banked 1/2 my position and moved my stop to flat. And the remaining 1/2 of my position did indeed get stopped out. So yes the market did not breakout and run down as expected but I still made a profit. :)
3. Make the good days.... Great!!!
Before you enter into a trade, you should know where you are getting out, both good and bad. On the days where the market breaks your way. Stay with your anylasis and don't close the trade early. I talk to a lot of traders who do this and I get it!. The trade is Green, the Money is there...let's grab it!! You need t check yourself and stick with your original anylasis on how far the trade could run. That said you also must be prepared to protect your account. Personally, Once I am up 2% on the day. I will NOT let it become a losing day. Period. If the market reverses, I am out and I am done. Once I am up 4% I will lock in at least 2% of profit and so till the market reaches my Profit target and then I will close my full position. Although the market may run further, I stick with my original analysis of the proper Profit target.
I hope this post is helpful and If you have questions, either put them in the comments below or message me

Are you tired and exhausted of finding a strategy that works, are you tired of predicting forex markets only to find out sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
First of all, you have to see what are your beliefs and you need to verify if you have right beliefs. Many traders think that forex trading is not gambling and to make money from forex you just need a golden strategy that works. I can write thousands of words on how beliefs always defend itself from discomforting knowledge and people with such wrong believes end up giving their money to markets.
In simple words:
TRADING IS GAMBLING
If trading is gambling then how to make money out of it? There are many people who make consistent profit from the market. { including me :) }.
TREAT FOREX LIKE CASINO TREAT THIER GAMBLERS
Forex trading is a probability game. Corporations spend vast amounts of money, in the hundreds of millions, if not billions, of dollars, on elaborate hotels to attract people to their casinos. How do you suppose they justify spending vast sums of money on elaborate hotels and casinos, whose primary function is to generate revenue from an event that has a purely random outcome?
Here’s an interesting paradox. Casinos make consistent profits day after day and year after year, facilitating an event that has a purely random outcome. At the same time, most traders believe that the outcome of the market’s behavior is not random, yet can’t seem to produce consistent profits. Shouldn’t a consistent, non-random outcome produce consistent results and a random outcome produce random, inconsistent results?
What casino owners, experienced gamblers, and the best traders understand that the typical trader finds difficult to grasp is: Events that have probable outcomes can produce consistent results, if you can get the odds in your favor and there is a large enough sample size. The best traders treat trading like a numbers game, similar to the way in which casinos and professional gamblers approach gambling.

Patterns, Fibonacci, indicators, support and resistance lines etc don't work

Before you start to think i am crazy, please continute reading.
I know many pattern traders, support and resistant traders and fibo traders on this websites. They hardly predict market 50% right. Some of them are around 50-60% range. I can toss a coin and can come up with a 40-60% winning rate. Therefore if your strategy works, then my coin strategy works as well.
Technical Strategies sometimes work and sometimes don't, just like a flipping a coin. If you have a strategy which won last 9 times, does it mean it will work 100% 10th time? No ! there's still a 50-50% chance, just if 9 coin flips showed heads last 9 times, doesn't mean 10th will also be a head.
5 rules to be a consistently successful trader over the long term:
>> ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN: There are always unknown forces operating in the market at every moment. Regardless of how much time, effort, the money you have to spend in your analysis, from the market perspective, the outcome will always be random.
>> YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT IN ORDER TO MAKE MONEY: why? because there is a random distribution between wins and losses for any given set of variable that defines an edge. Just like a casino with random outcomes, you can make a consistent profit.
>> THERE IS A RANDOM DISTRIBUTION BETWEEN WINS AND LOOSES FOR ANY GIVEN SET OF VARIABLE THAT DEFINES AND EDGE: Every losing trade puts you one step closer to a winning trade because the outcomes of any edge are totally random. The same theory is applied by casinos if someone wins money casinos don't get scared as they knew over the long term they will win.
>> AN EDGE IS NOTHING MORE THAN INDICATION OF A HIGHER PROBABILITY OF ONE THING HAPPENING OVER ANOTHER:
If you have a strategy which gives you higher probabilities .....( limited words)..
