Rotation Factor for TPO and OHLC (Plot)The Rotation Factor objectively measures attempted market direction(or market sentiment) for a given period. It records the cumulative directional attempts of auction rotations within a given period, thus, helping traders determine which way the market is trying to go and which market participant is exerting greater control or influence.
Theory
The premise is that a greater number of bars auctioning higher contrasted to bars auctioning lower indicates that buyers are exerting greater control over price within the given period(usually daily). In this case, the market is attempting to go higher (Market is Bullish). The same is true for a greater number of bars auctioning lower than higher, which, in this case, indicates that the sellers are exerting greater control over price within the given period and that the market is attempting to go lower (Market is Bearish).
Calculation
Each bar is individually measured in relation to the immediate previous bar, and calculations are reset at the beginning of each period.
For every bar, two variables are utilised: One for the highs and another for the lows. During bar start, these variables are initiated at 0.
As the period progresses, these variables are set accordingly: If the high of the current bar is higher than that of the previous bar, then the bar's highs variable is assigned a "+1". If the opposite is true, it is given a "-1". Finally, if both bar highs are equal, it is, instead, assigned a "0". The same is true for the lows: if the low of the current bar is higher than that of the previous low, then the bar's lows variable is assigned a "+1". Similarly, the opposite is given a "-1", while equal lows causes it to be assigned a "0". All highs and lows are then summed together resulting to a total, which becomes the Rotational Factor.
Presentation
Furthermore, this Rotation Factor Indicator is presented as a plot, which, unlike its classic variation, shows you how the rotation factor is developing. It also includes lines indicating the Top Rotation Factor and the Bottom Rotation Factor individually, the better to observe the developing auction.
Link to the Classic Variation:
Features
1. Customisable Tick Size/Granularity : The calculation tick size/ granularity is customisable which can be accessed through the indicator settings.
2. Customisable Labels and Lines : The colour and sizes used by the labels and lines are customisable the better for accessibility.
3. Period Separator : A separator is rendered to represent period borders (start and end). If separators are already present on your chart, you can remove them from the indicator settings.
4. Individual Top Rotation Factor and Bottom Rotation Factor plots : These two parts which becomes of the Rotation Factor are also presented individually, on their own plots, the better to observe the developing auction.
Works for both split Market Profile(TPO) charts and regular OHLC bars/candle charts
The Rotation Factor is usually used with a Split Market Profile (TPO). However, if no such tool is available, you will still be able to benefit from the Rotation Factor as the price ranges of Split Market Profiles and OHLC bars/candles are one and the same. In such cases, it is recommended that you set your chart to use a 30 minute timeframe and the indicator's period to "daily" to simulate a Split Market Profile.
Note :
The Rotation Factor is, to quote, "by no means not an all-conclusive indication of future market direction.". It only helps determine which way the market is trying to go by objectively measuring the market's directional attempts.
Buypressure
Buy/Sell Pressure!!!!! DISCLAIMER !!!!!
No indicator can tell the future.
This indicator doesn't tell you when to buy or sell.
Don't use this indicator alone without any other indicator.
It doesn't tell short or long squeeze.
It's just an extra tool can be added to your existing strategy.
If the source/data vendor doesn't provide volume, it will compile a runtime error: "No volume is provided by the data vendor.".
//Indicator Basis
This indicator is based on Average Directional Index (ADX) and transaction quantity (Volume).
From ADX, it's using a modified Directional Index Plus and Directional Index Minus.
From Volume, it's assume based on candle how many buyers or sellers in that volume.

I'm not planning to publish the source-code but wanted to gave a basis on which existing indicators I used.

//Indicator Description
The indicator show the conditions when the price change is not align with the volume. The buyers want the price go up and the sellers want the price go down.
When the price change is moved to the upside but in the volume show there are more sellers than buyers.
When the price change is moved to the downside but in the volume show there are more buyers than sellers.
It doesn't tells you when we are in short or long squeeze conditions!
It only tell you there are more buyers/sellers dispite the price change to the upside/downside.
When we are either condition, the price can go up or down. It's just helps to find who want take control, the bears (sellers) or bulls (buyers).
As long as the source/data vendor provides volume, it's usable in every time frame.
//Settings
Defualt settings:
Opted in - Red circles above the bar - more sellers dispite the price changed to the upside
Opted in - Green circles below the bar - more buyers dispite the price changed to the downside
Opted out - Orange background in the chart with 50% transparency - more sellers dispite the price changed to the upside
Opted out - Olivie background in the chart with 50% transparency - more buyers dispite the price changed to the downside
Colors, shapes can be customized as you like it.
Rotation Factor: Buy/Sell Pressure for Market/Volume ProfileRotation Factor is a simple formula to figure out the buy and sell pressure of the overall day. Rotation Factor is usually combined with Market Profile or Volume Profile analysis. It is designed to be used on the 30min timeframe with a 1D interval reset. It can be used on other timeframes, but results will vary. Some Rotation Factor traders like to use it on a daily with a 1M interval reset for longer term trading.
The formula is very clean because it only focuses on price action, highs and lows. The formula is as follows:
Current Bar makes Higher High and Higher Low +2 points
Current Bar makes Lower High and Lower Low -2 Points
Current Bar makes Higher High and Lower Low 0 Points
Current Bar makes Lower High and Higher Low 0 Points
Current High and Previous High are Equal and Higher Low +1 Points
Current Bar makes Higher High but Current and Previous lows are equal +1 Points
Current Bar makes Lower High but Current and Previous lows are equal -1 Points
Current High and Previous High are Equal and Lower Low -1 Points
I hope you enjoy this indicator, if you have any questions let me know in the comments.
Buy/Sell Aggregated Delta Pressure - InFinitoModified & Updated script from MARKET VOLUME by Ricardo M Arjona @XeL_Arjona that Includes Aggregated Volume , Delta Buy/Sell Pressure
Aggregation code originally from Crypt0rus
***The indicator can be used for any coin/symbol to aggregate volume , but it has to be set up manually***
***The indicator can be used with specific symbol data only by disabling the aggregation option, which allows for it to be used on any symbol***
- Calculated based on Aggregated Volume instead of by symbol volume . Using aggregated data makes it more accurate and allows to compare volume flow between different kinds of markets (Spot, Futures , Perpetuals, Futures+Perpetuals and All Volume ).
- As well, in order to make the data as accurate as possible, the data from each exchange aggregated is normalized to report always in terms of 1 BTC . In case this indicator is used for another symbol, the calculations can be adjusted manually to make it always report data in terms of 1 contract/coin.
- Buy/Sell Pressure: Smoothens the buy and sell volume into a signal for each. Which makes it easier to identify Buy and Sell Volume Flow.
- Buy/Sell Delta Pressure: Calculates the difference between Buy & Sell Pressure and plots a Delta signal that shows who is in control currently.
- Buy/Sell + Delta Pressure: Displays both Buy & Sell Pressure and Delta pressure. This can help to visualize who is in control but also how much pressure there is on each side.
- A Moving Average can be plotted to the Delta pressure. This, with confluence, can give great entries/exits
Things to look for:
- Divergences: If price keeps moving in one direction but the pressure to that side decreases it can be inferred that the move might slow down soon or revert. As well if pressure to one side increases but price does not react to it, it signals that the other side is stronger.
- MA/Zero Crossovers: Delta Pressure Crossover of its moving average or the 0 Line can indicate direction changes prematurely
Volume-Supported Linear Regression TrendHello Traders,
Linear Regression gives us some abilities to calculate the trend and if we combine it with volume then we may get very good results. Because if there is no volume support at up/downtrends then the trend may have a reversal soon. we also need to check the trend in different periods. With all this info, I developed Volume-Supported Linear Regression Trend script. The script checks linear regression of price and volume and then calculates trend direction and strength.
You have option to set Source, Short-Term Period and Long-Term Period. you can set them as you wish.
By default:
Close is used as "Source"
Short-Term Period is 20
Long-Term Period is 50
in following screenshot I tried to explain short term trend (for uptrend). Volume supports the trend? any volume pressure on trend? possible reversal? same idea while there is downtrend.
in following screenshot I tried to explain long term trend:
You can also check Positive/Negative Divergences to figure out possible reversals (to automate it, you can use Divergence for Many Indicators v4 , it has ability to check divergences on external indicators)
Enjoy!
