█ Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System
What is Loxx's "Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System"?
The Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System is a trading system built on the philosophy of the NNFX (No Nonsense Forex) algorithmic trading.
What is an NNFX algorithmic trading strategy?
The NNFX algorithm is built on the principles of trend, momentum, and volatility. There are six core components in the NNFX trading algorithm:
1. Volatility - price volatility; e.g., Average True Range, True Range Double, Close-to-Close, etc.
2. Baseline - a moving average to identify price trend
3. Confirmation 1 - a technical indicator used to identify trends
4. Confirmation 2 - a technical indicator used to identify trends
5. Continuation - a technical indicator used to identify trends
6. Volatility/Volume - a technical indicator used to identify volatility/volume breakouts/breakdown
7. Exit - a technical indicator used to determine when a trend is exhausted
How does Loxx's GKD (Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System) implement the NNFX algorithm outlined above?
Loxx's GKD v1.0 system has five types of modules (indicators/strategies). These modules are:
1. GKD-BT - Backtesting module (Volatility, Number 1 in the NNFX algorithm)
2. GKD-B - Baseline module (Baseline and Volatility/Volume, Numbers 1 and 2 in the NNFX algorithm)
3. GKD-C - Confirmation 1/2 and Continuation module (Confirmation 1/2 and Continuation, Numbers 3, 4, and 5 in the NNFX algorithm)
4. GKD-V - Volatility/Volume module (Confirmation 1/2, Number 6 in the NNFX algorithm)
5. GKD-E - Exit module (Exit, Number 7 in the NNFX algorithm)
(additional module types will added in future releases)
Each module interacts with every module by passing data between modules. Data is passed between each module as described below:
GKD-B => GKD-V => GKD-C(1) => GKD-C(2) => GKD-C(Continuation) => GKD-E => GKD-BT
That is, the Baseline indicator passes its data to Volatility/Volume. The Volatility/Volume indicator passes its values to the Confirmation 1 indicator. The Confirmation 1 indicator passes its values to the Confirmation 2 indicator. The Confirmation 2 indicator passes its values to the Continuation indicator. The Continuation indicator passes its values to the Exit indicator, and finally, the Exit indicator passes its values to the Backtest strategy.
This chaining of indicators requires that each module conform to Loxx's GKD protocol, therefore allowing for the testing of every possible combination of technical indicators that make up the six components of the NNFX algorithm.
What does the application of the GKD trading system look like?
Example trading system:
Backtest: Strategy with 1-3 take profits, trailing stop loss, multiple types of PnL volatility, and 2 backtesting styles
Baseline: Hull Moving Average
Volatility/Volume: Volatility Ratio
Confirmation 1: RSX on JMA as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 2: Williams Percent Range
Continuation: Fisher Transform
Exit: Rex Oscillator
Each GKD indicator is denoted with a module identifier of either: GKD-BT, GKD-B, GKD-C, GKD-V, or GKD-E. This allows traders to understand to which module each indicator belongs and where each indicator fits into the GKD protocol chain.

█ RSX on JMA
What is RSX?
The Jurik RSX (Relative Strength Index) is a technical indicator used in financial markets to measure the strength of price movement. It was developed by Mark Jurik and is based on the RSI formula, with the addition of smoothing and other modifications.
The Jurik RSX is designed to be smoother and more responsive than traditional RSI indicators, making it more useful for detecting trends and trading signals. It is also less prone to false signals and noise, which can be a problem with some other technical indicators.
The Jurik RSX can be used in a variety of ways, including as a trend-following indicator or a momentum indicator . It can also be combined with other indicators and trading strategies to improve overall performance.
What is JMA?
The Jurik Moving Average (JMA) is a type of technical analysis indicator used in financial markets. It was developed by Mark Jurik in the 1990s and is designed to filter out market noise and provide a smoother moving average line.
The JMA is calculated using a mathematical formula that takes into account the current and past prices of an asset, as well as the volatility of the market. It is designed to be more responsive to market changes than traditional moving averages, such as the simple moving average or exponential moving average.
One of the unique features of the JMA is that it uses a non-linear smoothing algorithm, which means that the smoothing process is not constant but varies based on market conditions. This allows the JMA to adapt to changes in market volatility and provide more accurate signals.
Overall, the Jurik Moving Average is a useful tool for traders and investors who want to smooth out market noise and identify trends in the financial markets.

█ RSX on OMA
What is RSX?
The Jurik RSX (Relative Strength Index) is a technical indicator used in financial markets to measure the strength of price movement. It was developed by Mark Jurik and is based on the RSI formula, with the addition of smoothing and other modifications.
The Jurik RSX is designed to be smoother and more responsive than traditional RSI indicators, making it more useful for detecting trends and trading signals. It is also less prone to false signals and noise, which can be a problem with some other technical indicators.
The Jurik RSX can be used in a variety of ways, including as a trend-following indicator or a momentum indicator. It can also be combined with other indicators and trading strategies to improve overall performance.
What is OMA?
Adaptive, One More Moving Average (OMA) is an adaptive moving average created by Mladen Rakic that changes shape with volatility and momentum
The usual story goes something like this : which is the best moving average? Everyone that ever started to do any kind of technical analysis was pulled into this "game". Comparing, testing, looking for new ones, testing ...
The idea of this one is simple: it should not be itself, but it should be a kind of a chameleon - it should "imitate" as much other moving averages as it can. So the need for zillion different moving averages would diminish. And it should have some extra, of course:
The extras:
it has to be smooth
it has to be able to "change speed" without length change
it has to be able to adapt or not (since it has to "imitate" the non-adaptive as well as the adaptive ones)
The steps:
Smoothing - compared are the simple moving average (that is the basis and the first step of this indicator - a smoothed simple moving average with as little lag added as it is possible and as close to the original as it is possible) Speed 1 and non-adaptive are the reference for this basic setup.
Speed changing - same chart only added one more average with "speeds" 2 and 3 (for comparison purposes only here)
Finally - adapting : same chart with SMA compared to one more average with speed 1 but adaptive (so this parameters would make it a "smoothed adaptive simple average") Adapting part is a modified Kaufman adapting way and this part (the adapting part) may be a subject for changes in the future (it is giving satisfactory results, but if or when I find a better way, it will be implemented here)
Some comparisons for different speed settings (all the comparisons are without adaptive turned on, and are approximate. Approximation comes from a fact that it is impossible to get exactly the same values from only one way of calculation, and frankly, I even did not try to get those same values).
speed 0.5 - T3 (0.618 Tilson)
speed 2.5 - T3 (0.618 Fulks/Matulich)
speed 1 - SMA , harmonic mean
speed 2 - LWMA
speed 7 - very similar to Hull and TEMA
speed 8 - very similar to LSMA and Linear regression value
Parameters:
Length - length (period) for averaging
Source - price to use for averaging
Speed - desired speed (i limited to -1.5 on the lower side but it even does not need that limit - some interesting results with speeds that are less than 0 can be achieved)
Adaptive - does it adapt or not
What is RSX on OMA?
For our purposes here, the source input is smoothed using OMA and then run through a modified version of RSX to produce the oscillator.

GKD-B => GKD-V => GKD-C(1) => GKD-C(2) => GKD-C(Continuation) => GKD-E => GKD-BT
Volatility/Volume: JCFBaux as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 1: Trading Channel Index
Confirmation 2: Williams Percent Range
Continuation: Fisher Transform
Exit: Rex Oscillator
Each GKD indicator is denoted with a module identifier of either: GKD-BT, GKD-B, GKD-C, GKD-V, or GKD-E. This allows traders to understand to which module each indicator belongs and where each indicator fits into the GKD protocol chain.

█ JCFBaux
What is JCFBaux?
JCFBaux is a custom volatility indicator that is designed to detect early spikes in volatility in financial markets. It is often used in conjunction with other momentum indicators to provide confluence in trading decisions. The indicator includes a Jurik-filtered signal line that acts as a cutoff for when volatility is low. Additionally, JCFBaux is used to calculate Jurik's "Composite Fractal Behavior". This is a non-directional GKD-V Volatility/Volume indicator.

█ KAMA w/ Jurik Fractal Dimension
What is KAMA w/ Jurik Fractal Dimension?
KAMA (Kaufman Adaptive Moving Average) with Jurik Fractal Dimension is a technical analysis indicator that combines the Kaufman Adaptive Moving Average (KAMA) with the Jurik Fractal Dimension indicator.
The KAMA is a type of moving average that is designed to adapt to changes in market volatility and trend. It is calculated by adjusting the smoothing period of an exponential moving average based on the volatility of the asset being analyzed. This makes the KAMA more responsive to changes in price than traditional moving averages, while still providing a stable trend line that reduces lag.
The Jurik Fractal Dimension indicator is a measure of the "fractality" of price movements. It is based on the idea that market prices are fractal in nature, meaning that they exhibit self-similar patterns across different time frames. The Jurik Fractal Dimension indicator measures the degree of fractality in price movements, with higher values indicating more complex and unpredictable price patterns.
By combining the KAMA with the Jurik Fractal Dimension indicator, traders can generate more accurate buy and sell signals. The KAMA helps to identify trends, while the Jurik Fractal Dimension indicator helps to filter out false signals by identifying whether price movements are trending or non-trending. This can help traders to avoid entering trades during periods of low volatility or when markets are trading sideways.
Overall, KAMA with Jurik Fractal Dimension is a sophisticated technical analysis tool that can help traders to identify trends and make more informed trading decisions. However, it is important to note that no indicator is foolproof and traders should always use multiple tools and strategies to confirm their trading decisions.

█ Mother of AMA (MAMA)
What is Mother of AMA (MAMA)?
The Ehlers Mother of Adaptive Moving Average (MAMA) is a technical analysis indicator developed by John F. Ehlers. It is a type of moving average that uses a combination of exponential moving averages (EMAs) and adaptive filtering to provide a smoothed price trend line with reduced lag and noise.
The MAMA indicator is composed of two lines: the fast MAMA line and the slow FAMA line. The fast MAMA line is designed to be more responsive to short-term price movements, while the slow FAMA line is designed to be more responsive to longer-term trends. The MAMA lines are constructed using an adaptive algorithm that adjusts to market volatility and changes in trend, making it more effective in volatile markets.
The Ehlers MAMA indicator is used by traders to identify trend reversals, and to generate buy and sell signals. When the fast MAMA line crosses above the slow FAMA line, it is considered a bullish signal, and when the fast MAMA line crosses below the slow FAMA line, it is considered a bearish signal. Additionally, the MAMA indicator can be used in combination with other technical indicators to confirm trading signals and improve trading accuracy.
The FAMA component of the MAMA (Mother of Adaptive Moving Average) is the slowest of the two lines that make up the MAMA indicator. It is designed to respond more slowly to changes in price than the fast MAMA line, and is calculated as an exponential moving average of the fast MAMA line.
The FAMA component is adaptive, meaning that it adjusts to changes in market volatility and trend. In volatile markets, the FAMA line will adjust more quickly to changes in price, while in less volatile markets, it will adjust more slowly. This makes the FAMA line more effective at identifying longer-term trends and reducing lag.
The combination of the fast MAMA line and the slow FAMA line in the MAMA indicator provides traders with a reliable trend-following tool that responds quickly to changes in price while remaining stable enough to avoid false signals. When the fast MAMA line crosses above the slow FAMA line, it is a signal to buy, and when the fast MAMA line crosses below the slow FAMA line, it is a signal to sell. By using the MAMA indicator in conjunction with other technical analysis tools, traders can improve their trading accuracy and make more informed trading decisions.
The white line is the FAMA and the colored line is the MAMA. Crosses of the MAMA over the FAMA are longs, crosses under are shorts.

5. GKD-E - Exit module (Exit, Number 7 in the NNFX algorithm)
(additional module types will added in future releases)
Each module interacts with every module by passing data between modules. Data is passed between each module as described below:
GKD-B => GKD-V => GKD-C(1) => GKD-C(2) => GKD-C(Continuation) => GKD-E => GKD-BT
Volatility/Volume: Volatility Ratio as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 1: Guts as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 2: Williams Percent Range
Continuation: Fisher Transform
Exit: Rex Oscillator
Each GKD indicator is denoted with a module identifier of either: GKD-BT, GKD-B, GKD-C, GKD-V, or GKD-E. This allows traders to understand to which module each indicator belongs and where each indicator fits into the GKD protocol chain.

█ Normalized Velocity
What is Normalized Velocity?
Velocity (which is often called a "smoother momentum" since it is much smoother than momentum without lagging at all) with an addition of ATR normalization
Since velocity is (even when normalization is applied) is not an indicator with fixed bounds, this indicator is uses floating levels for what is usually called overbought and oversold levels (+ a floating "zero" line is added). Something that would look like a "fixed levels" is easily achieved if you use long floating levels period in which case those levels are quite similar to fixed levels.
This indicator can be used like any momentum indicator (in that case recommended coloring mode is to use either slope coloring or "zero" middle level crossing coloring) or it can be used as a "trending" indicator in which case it is better to use coloring on outer level cross, and longer calculation periods are advised in that case.
This indicator has two signal optoins: middle crosses or levels crosses

█ Parabolic Weighted Velocity
What is Parabolic Weighted Velocity?
Most folks don't know that what is usually known as "Jurik Velocity" is actually a difference of Parabolic Weighted Moving Average and Linear Weighted Moving Average.
Parabolic Weighted Velocity extends this idea by allowing you to change the "power" of the calculated averages used for velocity calculation. The bigger the Power parameter, the more weight is set to current price (it is faster). The smaller the Power parameter the slower is the velocity.
The Parabolic Weighted Velocity indicator is designed to identify the momentum of a currency pair's price movement. The indicator gives a buy signal when the line is above zero and a sell signal when it is below zero. The slope of the curve is also used to determine the strength of the trend. A steep curve indicates a strong trend, while a flat curve indicates a weak trend.

█ Elegant Oscillator
What is Elegant Oscillator?
John Ehlers' Elegant Oscillator is a technical analysis indicator used in stock trading. The indicator is derived from the inverse Fisher Transform, which is a mathematical method used to transform non-Gaussian data into Gaussian data. The Elegant Oscillator uses a bandpass filter and a triple smoothing technique to filter out market noise and identify cycles.
The indicator oscillates around a zero line, with positive values indicating an uptrend and negative values indicating a downtrend. Traders use the Elegant Oscillator to identify potential market reversals and generate trading signals based on its movement. The Elegant Oscillator is commonly used in combination with other technical analysis tools and strategies to increase the probability of successful trades.

GKD-B => GKD-V => GKD-C(1) => GKD-C(2) => GKD-C(Continuation) => GKD-E => GKD-BT
Baseline: Hull Moving Average as shown on chart
Volatility/Volume: Waddah Attar as shown on chart
Confirmation 1: Variety RSI as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 2: Williams Percent Range
Continuation: Fisher Transform
Exit: Rex Oscillator
Each GKD indicator is denoted with a module identifier of either: GKD-BT, GKD-B, GKD-C, GKD-V, or GKD-E. This allows traders to understand to which module each indicator belongs and where each indicator fits into the GKD protocol chain.

█ Variety RSI
This indicator contains 7 different types of RSI.
RSX

Slow
Rapid
Harris

Ehlers Smoothed
What is RSI?
RSI stands for Relative Strength Index. It is a technical indicator used to measure the strength or weakness of a financial instrument's price action.
The RSI is calculated based on the price movement of an asset over a specified period of time, typically 14 days, and is expressed on a scale of 0 to 100. The RSI is considered overbought when it is above 70 and oversold when it is below 30.
Traders and investors use the RSI to identify potential buy and sell signals. When the RSI indicates that an asset is oversold, it may be considered a buying opportunity, while an overbought RSI may signal that it is time to sell or take profits.
It's important to note that the RSI should not be used in isolation and should be used in conjunction with other technical and fundamental analysis tools to make informed trading decisions.
What is RSX?
Jurik RSX is a technical analysis indicator that is a variation of the Relative Strength Index Smoothed (RSX) indicator. It was developed by Mark Jurik and is designed to help traders identify trends and momentum in the market.
The Jurik RSX uses a combination of the RSX indicator and an adaptive moving average (AMA) to smooth out the price data and reduce the number of false signals. The adaptive moving average is designed to adjust the smoothing period based on the current market conditions, which makes the indicator more responsive to changes in price.
The Jurik RSX can be used to identify potential trend reversals and momentum shifts in the market. It oscillates between 0 and 100, with values above 50 indicating a bullish trend and values below 50 indicating a bearish trend. Traders can use these levels to make trading decisions, such as buying when the indicator crosses above 50 and selling when it crosses below 50.
The Jurik RSX is a more advanced version of the RSX indicator, and while it can be useful in identifying potential trade opportunities, it should not be used in isolation. It is best used in conjunction with other technical and fundamental analysis tools to make informed trading decisions.
What is Slow RSI?
Slow RSI is a variation of the traditional Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator. It is a more smoothed version of the RSI and is designed to filter out some of the noise and short-term price fluctuations that can occur with the standard RSI.
The Slow RSI uses a longer period of time than the traditional RSI, typically 21 periods instead of 14. This longer period helps to smooth out the price data and makes the indicator less reactive to short-term price fluctuations.
Like the traditional RSI, the Slow RSI is used to identify potential overbought and oversold conditions in the market. It oscillates between 0 and 100, with values above 70 indicating overbought conditions and values below 30 indicating oversold conditions. Traders often use these levels as potential buy and sell signals.
The Slow RSI is a more conservative version of the RSI and can be useful in identifying longer-term trends in the market. However, it can also be slower to respond to changes in price, which may result in missed trading opportunities. Traders may choose to use a combination of both the Slow RSI and the traditional RSI to make informed trading decisions.
What is Rapid RSI?
Same as regular RSI but with a faster calculation method
What is Harris RSI?
Harris RSI is a technical analysis indicator that is a variation of the Relative Strength Index (RSI). It was developed by Larry Harris and is designed to help traders identify potential trend changes and momentum shifts in the market.
The Harris RSI uses a different calculation formula compared to the traditional RSI. It takes into account both the opening and closing prices of a financial instrument, as well as the high and low prices. The Harris RSI is also normalized to a range of 0 to 100, with values above 50 indicating a bullish trend and values below 50 indicating a bearish trend.
Like the traditional RSI, the Harris RSI is used to identify potential overbought and oversold conditions in the market. It oscillates between 0 and 100, with values above 70 indicating overbought conditions and values below 30 indicating oversold conditions. Traders often use these levels as potential buy and sell signals.
The Harris RSI is a more advanced version of the RSI and can be useful in identifying longer-term trends in the market. However, it can also generate more false signals than the standard RSI. Traders may choose to use a combination of both the Harris RSI and the traditional RSI to make informed trading decisions.
What is Cuttler RSI?
Cuttler RSI is a technical analysis indicator that is a variation of the Relative Strength Index (RSI). It was developed by Curt Cuttler and is designed to help traders identify potential trend changes and momentum shifts in the market.
The Cuttler RSI uses a different calculation formula compared to the traditional RSI. It takes into account the difference between the closing price of a financial instrument and the average of the high and low prices over a specified period of time. This difference is then normalized to a range of 0 to 100, with values above 50 indicating a bullish trend and values below 50 indicating a bearish trend.
Like the traditional RSI, the Cuttler RSI is used to identify potential overbought and oversold conditions in the market. It oscillates between 0 and 100, with values above 70 indicating overbought conditions and values below 30 indicating oversold conditions. Traders often use these levels as potential buy and sell signals.
The Cuttler RSI is a more advanced version of the RSI and can be useful in identifying longer-term trends in the market. However, it can also generate more false signals than the standard RSI. Traders may choose to use a combination of both the Cuttler RSI and the traditional RSI to make informed trading decisions.
What is Ehlers Smoothed RSI?
Ehlers smoothed RSI is a technical analysis indicator that is a variation of the Relative Strength Index (RSI). It was developed by John Ehlers and is designed to help traders identify potential trend changes and momentum shifts in the market.
The Ehlers smoothed RSI uses a different calculation formula compared to the traditional RSI. It uses a smoothing algorithm that is designed to reduce the noise and random fluctuations that can occur with the standard RSI. The smoothing algorithm is based on a concept called "digital signal processing" and is intended to improve the accuracy of the indicator.
Like the traditional RSI, the Ehlers smoothed RSI is used to identify potential overbought and oversold conditions in the market. It oscillates between 0 and 100, with values above 70 indicating overbought conditions and values below 30 indicating oversold conditions. Traders often use these levels as potential buy and sell signals.
The Ehlers smoothed RSI can be useful in identifying longer-term trends and momentum shifts in the market. However, it can also generate more false signals than the standard RSI. Traders may choose to use a combination of both the Ehlers smoothed RSI and the traditional RSI to make informed trading decisions.

GKD-B => GKD-V => GKD-C(1) => GKD-C(2) => GKD-C(Continuation) => GKD-E => GKD-BT

█ Adaptive, One More Moving Average (OMA)
What is Adaptive, One More Moving Average (OMA)?

█ Cycle-Period Adaptive, Linear Regression Slope Oscillator
What is Cycle-Period Adaptive, Linear Regression Slope Oscillator?
Cycle-Period Adaptive, Linear Regression Slope Oscillator is an oscillator that solves for the Linear Regression slope and turns it into an oscillator. This is a very simple calculation and uses one of Ehler's first implementations of his cycle period calculations. The output slope value is smoothed after calculation and before being drawn. This is a sort of momentum indicator and has a rich history with Forex traders around the world.
What is the Cycle Period?
The spectral content of the data are measured in a bank of contiguous filters as described in "Measuring Cycle Periods" in the March 2008 issue of Stocks & Commodities Magazine. The filter having the strongest output is selected as the current dominant cycle period. The cycle period is measured as the number of bars contained in one full cycle period.
What is Linear Regression?
In statistics, linear regression is a linear approach for modeling the relationship between a scalar response and one or more explanatory variables. The case of one explanatory variable is called simple linear regression ; for more than one, the process is called multiple linear regression.

GKD-B => GKD-V => GKD-C(1) => GKD-C(2) => GKD-C(Continuation) => GKD-E => GKD-BT
Volatility/Volume: Volatility Ratio as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 1: Twiggs Money Flow as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 2: Williams Percent Range
Continuation: Fisher Transform
Exit: Rex Oscillator
Each GKD indicator is denoted with a module identifier of either: GKD-BT, GKD-B, GKD-C, GKD-V, or GKD-E. This allows traders to understand to which module each indicator belongs and where each indicator fits into the GKD protocol chain.

█ Twiggs Money Flow
What is Twiggs Money Flow?
Twiggs Money Flow is a technical analysis indicator that was developed by Colin Twiggs. It is used to measure buying and selling pressure in financial markets by combining both price and volume information.
Twiggs Money Flow is calculated by taking the average of high, low, and closing prices for a specific period, and then multiplying that by the volume for the same period. The result is then adjusted to take into account whether the closing price was higher or lower than the midpoint of the high and low prices.
The indicator is plotted as a line that oscillates above and below a zero line. When the Twiggs Money Flow line is above zero, it indicates buying pressure, while a line below zero indicates selling pressure. Traders often use Twiggs Money Flow in combination with other technical analysis indicators to make trading decisions.

█ Rex Oscillator
What is Rex Oscillator
The Rex oscillator measures market behavior based on the relationship of the close to the open, high and low values of the same bar. A big difference between the high and close on a bar indicates weakness, and wide disparity between the low and close indicates strength. The difference between open and close also indicates market performance. This version adds Donchian-style upper/lower boundaries. These levels allow you take advantage of extreme highs/lows and exit at those values.
Other things to note
The GKD trading system requires that a GKD-V indicator be present in the indicator chain, but the GKD-V indicator doesn't need to be active. You can turn on/off the Volatility Ratio as you wish so you can backtest your trading strategy with the filter on or off.
Additional features will be added in future releases.

█ Center of Gravity
What is Center of Gravity?
John Ehlers is a well-known technical analyst and trader who has made several contributions to the field of technical analysis. One of his most famous indicators is the Center of Gravity (CoG) indicator, which is used to identify potential price reversals in financial markets.
The Center of Gravity indicator is a trend-following indicator that is based on the concept of the center of gravity of a body. It uses a weighted average of prices to calculate the CoG, which is then plotted on a price chart. According to Ehlers, the CoG represents the balance point of price action and can be used to identify changes in market trends.
Traders often use the CoG indicator in conjunction with other technical analysis tools, such as moving averages and oscillators, to generate trading signals and make investment decisions. While the CoG indicator can be a useful tool for traders, it is important to remember that it is only one part of a larger trading strategy and should not be used as the sole basis for making investment decisions.
Overall, the Center of Gravity indicator is a unique and useful tool developed by John Ehlers that has been widely adopted by traders and technical analysts.

Backtest: Strategy with 1-3 take profits, trailing stop loss, multiple types of PnL volatility, and 2 backtesting styles
Baseline: Hull Moving Average
Volatility/Volume: Trend Direction Force Index (TDFI) as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 1: Halftrend Averages
Confirmation 2: Williams Percent Range
Continuation: Fisher Transform
Exit: Rex Oscillator
Each GKD indicator is denoted with a module identifier of either: GKD-BT, GKD-B, GKD-C, GKD-V, or GKD-E. This allows traders to understand to which module each indicator belongs and where each indicator fits into the GKD protocol chain.

█ Trend Direction Force Index (TDFI)
What is Trend Direction Force Index (TDFI)
Trend Direction Force Index is a volatility and trend indicator that oscillates between -1 and 1 with a dead-zone for low volatility periods.
GKD-V Semi-Variance [Loxx]Giga Kaleidoscope Semi-Variance is a Volatility / Volume module included in Loxx's "Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System".
The NNFX algorithm is built on the principles of trend, momentum, and volatility . There are six core components in the NNFX trading algorithm:
1. Volatility - price volatility ; e.g., Average True Range , True Range Double, Close-to-Close, etc.
2. Baseline - a moving average to identify price trend
3. Confirmation 1 - a technical indicator used to identify trends.
4. Confirmation 2 - a technical indicator used to identify trends.
5. Continuation - a technical indicator used to identify trends.
6. Volatility / Volume - a technical indicator used to identify volatility / volume breakouts/breakdown.
7. Exit - a technical indicator used to determine when a trend is exhausted.
How does Loxx's GKD (Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System) implement the NNFX algorithm outlined above?
Loxx's GKD v1.0 system has five types of modules (indicators/strategies). These modules are:
1. GKD-BT - Backtesting module (Volatility , Number 1 in the NNFX algorithm)
2. GKD-B - Baseline module (Baseline and Volatility / Volume , Numbers 1 and 2 in the NNFX algorithm)
3. GKD-C - Confirmation 1/2 and Continuation module (Confirmation 1/2 and Continuation, Numbers 3, 4, and 5 in the NNFX algorithm)
4. GKD-V - Volatility / Volume module (Confirmation 1/2, Number 6 in the NNFX algorithm)
5. GKD-E - Exit module (Exit, Number 7 in the NNFX algorithm)
(additional module types will added in future releases)
Each module interacts with every module by passing data between modules. Data is passed between each module as described below:
GKD-B => GKD-V => GKD-C(1) => GKD-C(2) => GKD-C(Continuation) => GKD-E => GKD-BT
That is, the Baseline indicator passes its data to Volatility / Volume . The Volatility / Volume indicator passes its values to the Confirmation 1 indicator.

█ Semi-Variance
What is Semi-Variance
Semi-variance is a statistical measure that represents the variability of returns in a financial portfolio or investment that fall below a certain threshold or benchmark return. Unlike traditional variance, which measures the dispersion of all returns, semi-variance only focuses on the downside risk or the deviation of returns that are below a specified target return.
Semi-variance is calculated as the average of the squared deviations of returns below the target return. It provides information on the risk of losing money and helps investors assess the stability and reliability of a portfolio or investment. A high semi-variance indicates a higher level of downside risk, while a low semi-variance suggests a lower level of downside risk.
In finance, semi-variance is often used in conjunction with other risk measures, such as standard deviation, beta, and value-at-risk, to give a comprehensive understanding of a portfolio's risk-return profile.
This indicator calculates the difference betwen upward volatility and downward volatility. You can choose between guassian normalized or regular.

█ Halftrend Averages
What is Halftrend Averages?
Halftrend Averages is like Supertrend but different. The differnce is the smoothing of high/low values before determining the trend. This version removes the ATR channels since they aren't useful for our purposes here. This version also has the ability to apply different smoothing types. 62 smoothing types are included. The default is SMA.
