Intraday ReversalReversal Indicator
This Reversal Indicator is designed to capture high-probability reversal trades by analyzing price action at the day’s high or low. It identifies key levels, confirms breaks, and provides clear trade entry parameters based on trader margin, offering a simple yet effective approach for managing risk and potential profit. Best timeframe for trading is 1m.
Key Features:
1. Marks the Day's High and Low Candle:
- Automatically identifies and marks the high and low of the current trading day, acting as potential reversal zones.
2. Entry Trigger:
- A trade signal is generated when the price breaks below the high/low candle.
3. Trade Entry Parameters Display:
- Before the trade entry, the indicator presents a trade entry label on the chart, displaying essential information such as Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Shares Quantity, calculated according to the trader's available margin.
4. Stop Loss:
- The Stop Loss is automatically set a specified number of ticks above the day's high (for shorts) or below the day's low (for longs), ensuring tight risk management.
5. Take Profit:
- The Take Profit level is calculated as a percentage of the Stop Loss distance, providing proportional reward-to-risk ratios based on customizable preferences.
6. Visual Take Profit Line:
- Once a trade is entered, the indicator draws a visible Take Profit line on the chart. This line is initially red, signaling an active trade. If the market hits the Take Profit target, the line turns green, indicating a successful exit.
7. Setup Reset:
- The indicator resets itself with new high / low of the day
This Reversal Indicator simplifies trade execution by automating key decisions, allowing traders to focus on managing the trade rather than constantly monitoring price action. Perfect for traders looking to capitalize on daily reversal patterns with clear risk/reward parameters.
Intraday
Thrax - Intraday Market Pressure ZonesTHRAX - INTRADAY MARKET PRESSURE ZONES
This indicator identifies potential support and resistance zones based on areas of significant market pressure. It dynamically plots these zones and adjusts their visibility based on real-time price action and user-defined thresholds. The indicator is useful for traders seeking to understand intraday market pressure, visualize zones of potential price reversals, and analyze volume imbalances at critical levels.
1. Support/Resistance Zones: Wherever the price retraces significantly from its high a support zone is drawn and when it retraces significantly from it low a resistance zone is drawn. The significant retracing is measured by the wick threshold percentage. For instance, if set to 75%, it implies price retracement of 75% either from high or from low for a particular candel
Volume delat: Displays volume delta information where the zones are formed. This can be used by trader to consider only those zones where delta is significant.
2. Breakout Detection: Monitors for price breakouts beyond established zones, deleting zones that are invalidated by price movement. when the price breaks a given zone with the threshold, it is considered to be mitigated and chances of trend continuation is decent.
Candle Coloring: Uses color codes (green, red, and yellow) to represent bullish, bearish, and indecisive (doji) candles, aiding quick visual assessment.
INPUTS
1. Wick Threshold (%) : Sets the minimum wick percentage required for a candle to be considered a support or resistance candidate.
2. Breakout Threshold (%) : Determines the percentage above or below a support or resistance zone that defines a breakout condition. if breaks a zone with the set threshold then the zone will be considered mititgated.
3. Max Number of Support/Resistance Zones : Limits the maximum number of support/resistance zones displayed on the chart, ranging from 1 to 5.
4. Show Wick Percentage Labels : Toggles the display of percentage values for upper and lower wicks on each candle.
TRADE SETUP
Identifying Entry Points: Look for the formation of support or resistance zones. Wait for price to retrace to these zones. if you are willing to take risk, you can consider even zones with low delta. If you want to be more cautious you should consider zones with high delta.
Volume Confirmation: Use the volume information to confirm the strength of the zone. Strong volume differences (displayed as labels) can indicate significant market pressure at these levels.
Breakout Trades: If price breaks through a support/resistance zone by more than the breakout threshold, consider this a signal for a potential trend continuation in the breakout direction.
Risk Management: Set stop-loss levels slightly outside of the identified zones to minimize risk in case of false breakouts. This can be set in input setting for breakout threshold.
Bonus Tip : Mark your significant highs and lows from where prices have retraced multiple times in the near past and if the zone is near these levels it can serve s a strong candidate of support or resistance
Therefore, in conclusion monitor the zones, based on delta and volume presence filter out the zone, wait for price retracement to the zone, intiate the trade with stop loss below zone with a set percentage.
Daily Moving Average for Intraday TimeframesThis indicator provides a dynamic tool for visualizing the Daily Moving Average (DMA) on intraday timeframes.
It allows you to analyze how the price behaves in relation to the daily moving average in timeframes from 1 minute up to 1 day.
KEY FEATURES
DMA on Intraday timeframes only : This indicator is designed to work exclusively on intraday charts with timeframes between 1 minute and 1 day. It will not function on tick, second-based, or daily-and-above charts.
Color-Coded Zones for Trend Identification :
Green Zone: The price is above a rising DMA, signaling a bullish momentum.
Red Zone: The price is below a falling DMA, signaling a bearish momentum.
Yellow Zone: Signaling uncertainty or mixed conditions, where either the price is above a falling DMA or below a rising/flat DMA.
Configurable DMA Period : You can adjust the number of days over which the DMA is calculated (default is 5 days). This can be customized based on your trading strategy or market preferences.
24/7 Market Option : For assets that trade continuously (e.g., cryptocurrencies), activate the "Is trading 24/7?" setting to ensure accurate calculations.
WHAT IS THE DMA AND WHY USE IT INTRADAY?
The Daily Moving Average is a Simple Moving Average indicator used to smooth out price fluctuations over a specified period (in days) and reveal the underlying trend.
Typically, a SMA takes price value for the current timeframe and reveal the trend for this timeframe. It gives you the average price for the last N candles for the given timeframe.
But what makes the Intraday DMA interesting is that it shows the underlying trend of the Daily timeframe on a chart set on a shorter timeframe . This helps to align intraday trades with broader market movements.
HOW IS THE DMA CALCULATED?
If we are to build a N-day Daily Moving Average using a Simple Moving Average, we need to take the amount of candles A needed in that timeframe to account for a period of a day and multiply it by the number of days N of the desired DMA.
So for instance, let say we want to compute the 5-Day DMA on the 10 minute timeframe :
In the 10 minute timeframe there are 39 candles in a day in the regular session.
We would take the 39 candles per day and then multiply that by 5 days. 39 x 5 = 195.
So a 5-day moving average is represented by a simple moving average with a period of 195 when looking at a 10 minute timeframe.
So for each period, to create a 5-day DMA, you would have to set the period of your simple moving average like so :
- 195 minutes = 10 period
- 130 minutes = 15 period
- 65 minutes = 30 period
- 30 minutes = 65 period
- 15 minutes = 130 period
- 10 minutes = 195 period
- 5 minutes = 390 period
and so on.
This indicator attempts to do this calculation for you on any intraday timeframe and whatever the period you want to use is for your DMA. You can create a 10-day moving average, a 30-day moving average, etc.
Horizontal Lines 0.5, BY ROSHAN SINGHThis indicator identify support and resistance to trade in 1min time frame, based of fib 0.5 level, on 15 min time frame find major high and low means major swing, low will be our start level and high will be our end level input in setting, substract high and end level and now divide answer with 2 till the daily volatility of a index or stock, if saying about nifty suppose nifty daily travel minimum for 65 pts then interval will be 65 input in settings, now all horizontals lines means support and level will be plotted on chart, buy on support, sell on resistance
Intraday Stop Loss Calculator[fitfatq]Indicator Overview
Intraday Stop Loss Calculator is a practical tool designed for day traders. This indicator helps traders instantly calculate the loss percentage based on the high or low of the current K-bar relative to the entry price. It also displays the stop-loss risk based on the day's high or low. You can select either long or short mode, allowing the indicator to calculate the appropriate data according to your trading strategy.
Features
Current K-bar Stop Loss: Calculates and displays the loss percentage based on the high or low of the current K-bar, making it ideal for short-term trading decisions. Day Stop Loss: Calculates and displays the loss percentage based on the day's high (for short positions) or low (for long positions), helping you better manage risk by understanding the distance between the current price and key levels.
Adjustable Options
Minute Period: Users can select the minute period for the indicator, with a default of 5 minutes. Position Type: Choose between "Long" or "Short," and the indicator will automatically calculate the relevant stop-loss data based on your selection. Show Day Stop Loss: Users can choose whether to display the stop-loss percentage based on the day's high or low. The default is enabled.
Usage Instructions
Load the indicator, set the minute period, and choose the long or short mode. Depending on your trading strategy, decide whether to display the day's stop-loss percentage. When switching symbols, if the current K-bar has no movement, the indicator may temporarily not display information. This is normal behavior. Please wait for the next K-bar or manually refresh.
Basic Logic
The indicator calculates and displays the loss percentage based on the high or low of the current K-bar and the day's high or low, helping traders understand potential stop-loss risks in real-time. Users can adjust parameters such as color and transparency to ensure the indicator displays clearly and meets their expectations.
Notes
When switching symbols, if the K-bar has no movement, the indicator may not immediately update. This is due to Pine Script requiring data changes to trigger calculations. This indicator is ideal for users who frequently engage in day trading, helping you better manage risk and make timely decisions.
Additionally, please note that in the Chinese version of TradingView, the long/short options might be translated as "Short-term" and "Long-term," but this does not affect the functionality of the indicator.

Understanding the Features:
Chapter 1: Entries Enhancements
In this chapter, we delve into strategies to refine trading entries, focusing on the multi-timeframe analysis of extreme or decisional order blocks in the High Time Frame timeframe as a key point of interest. We highlight the significance of transitioning to the Low Time Frame chart for observing pivotal shifts in market behavior. By examining these concepts, traders can gain deeper insights into market dynamics and make more informed entries decisions at critical junctures.
Practical Example:
We had an Order Block Extreme on the 1-hour timeframe, and currently, we are on the recommended chart for trade entry, which is the 5-minute timeframe. We are patiently waiting to observe a 5-minute ChoCh in the market to enter a buying position since it's an OB Extreme Demand on the 1-hour timeframe. Here, it's crucial and important to focus on the entry timeframe rather than checking what's happening in the higher timeframe. The indicator facilitates this task as it provides us with real-time perspective and visibility of everything happening in the higher timeframe.
Chapter 2: Inducements HTF
It is important and useful to be aware of the various liquidity points across the different timeframes we use; sometimes, a reliable entry point in the Lower Time Frame (LTF) may be surrounded by inducements. Consequently, this point becomes unreliable, and prior to the arrival of this functionality, such anomalies could not be detected, especially when focusing on the market in the LTF. From now on, there will be no more such issues.
Practical Example:
Suppose we identify an Order Block Extreme on the 5M timeframe, indicating a potential entry level. However, when we switch to the 5M timeframe to look for an entry point, we observe an accumulation of inducements around this Order Block coming from a higher timeframe, whether it's M15 or H1. This suggests a potential weakness in the entry point and significant market liquidity, which will act as a trap zone. Before the introduction of this feature, we might have missed this crucial observation, but now we can detect these anomalies and adjust our strategy accordingly.
The only practical way to see theses confluences is to use this Indicator, see the example below
Chapter 03: High/Low – Bos - ChoCh Markings HTF
The High/Low Markings HTF feature in the MTF External Ranges Analysis - ERA - Orion provides a comprehensive view into the market's heartbeat across different timeframes, right from within the convenience of the Lower Time Frame (LTF). It meticulously highlights pivotal shifts, allowing traders to seamlessly discern market sentiment and anticipate potential price reversals without needing to toggle between multiple charts. This innovation ensures that critical market movements and sentiment across various timeframes are visible and actionable from a single, focused LTF perspective, enhancing decision-making and strategic planning in trading activities.
Understanding High/Low Markings in HTF Analysis
High/Low Markings in High Time Frame (HTF) analysis mark the market's extremities within a given period, pinpointing potential areas for reversals or continuation and delineating crucial support and resistance levels. These markings are not arbitrary but represent significant market responses, serving as essential indicators for traders and analysts to gauge market momentum and sentiment.
The Role of HTF in Market Analysis
HTF analysis extends a comprehensive view over market movements, distinguishing between ephemeral fluctuations and substantial trend shifts. By scrutinizing these high and low points across wider time frames, analysts can unravel the underlying market momentum, enabling more strategic, informed trading decisions.
Identifying High/Low Markings
Identifying these crucial points entails detailed chart analysis over extended durations—daily, weekly, or monthly. The search focuses on the utmost highs and lows within these periods, which are more than mere points on a chart. They are significant market levels that have historically elicited robust market reactions, serving as key indicators for future market behavior.
Real-world Example:
Chapter 04: Multiple Timeframes and Confluences on Extreme, Dec and SMT Order Blocks Across HTF
The Orion indicator serves as a bridge between the multiple dimensions of the market, enabling a unified and strategic interpretation of potential movements. It's an indispensable tool for those seeking to capitalize on major opportunity zones, where the convergence of diverse perspectives creates ideal conditions for significant market movements.
Designed to navigate through the data of different timeframes and market analysis, Orion provides a clear and consolidated view of major points of interest. With this indicator, traders can not only spot opportunity zones where consensus is strongest but also adjust their strategies based on the dynamic interaction of various market participants, all while remaining within the Lower Time Frame (LTF).
Conclusion:
MTF External Ranges Analysis - ERA - Orion for Smart Money Concepts as “ The Orion ” indicator captures consensus among scalpers, day traders , swing traders, and investors, turning key areas into major opportunities. It allows for precise identification of areas of interest by analyzing the convergence of actions from various market participants. In short, Orion is crucial for detecting and leveraging the most promising points of convergence in the market.
This identification occurs even while focusing on Lower Time Frames (LTF), allowing for detailed insights without losing the broader market perspective.
This document provides an extensive overview of MTF External Ranges Analysis - ERA - Orion , emphasizing its importance in comprehending market dynamics and utilizing essential smart money concepts trading principles.
Arbitrage Spread v3 : 12 spreads dashboard [Arby.Trade]This indicator allows you to track in real time the change in the spread (the difference in the exchange rate) between two assets simultaneously for 12 trading pairs.
⚙️ How does the indicator work?
In the indicator settings menu, the user selects two trading pairs, for example BTCUSDT on the Binance exchange and BTCUSDT on the Bybit exchange, after which the script will receive prices from both exchanges and compare them with each other, calculating the percentage deviation between prices (spread). The script will do this work with all 12 trading pairs added to the script settings menu. The script can only work with those assets and exchanges that are on board TradingView, and this is not a small thing.
⚡️ How to use it?
At times when the spread value is negative, this means that the price of the asset on the first exchange is less than on the second. That is, by buying an asset on the first exchange and selling it on the second one, you can earn money (of course, it is important to take into account the commissions of the exchanges for these transactions). When the spread is above zero, the opposite is true. The exchanges and the prices at which to buy are displayed in the green Buy row. Prices and exchanges for sale are in the Sell row and highlighted in red. When the spread is zero, the prices on both exchanges are the same and there is no arbitrage situation.
To improve the accuracy of the indicator, try to use the minimum timeframe available for your TradingView subscription – minute or second.
🕒 Counter of arbitration situations
For each trading pair, the table below the Buy row shows the number of arbitrage situations that have been on the asset for a certain period of time. In this case, an arbitrage situation is understood as the moment when the spread value exceeded the Signal Threshold Level set by the user. Each time the spread value of the Signal Threshold Level is exceeded, the counter will add one. The counter takes into account only those arbitrage situations that were on the market during the time period back from the current moment. For example, for a 1-hour period (1h) of the counter, the number of arbitration situations for the last hour will be displayed. For each asset you can simultaneously track the number of arbitrage situations during three selected time periods from 5 minutes to a day.
The counter will allow you to evaluate the prospects of arbitrage of selected trading pairs. For example, if the number of arbitrage situations on a trading pair was 1-2 within an hour, then it is obvious that it is better not to waste time waiting for another such situation on this pair and look for the next one.
🔔 Setting up Alerts
In the script settings, you can set the threshold value of the spread – Spread Signal Threshold. When this level is reached, the table related to the asset whose spread has reached this level will be highlighted. Also, this level is a signal level for setting up alerts from the indicator.
To set up alerts, open the Alerts tab in the TradingView menu on the right. Click the "Create Alert" button. Then, in the window that opens, select this indicator in the "Condition" line. After that, you can set a name for this alert and complete the notification setup by clicking the "Create" button.
We, the authors of this script, have been engaged in cryptocurrency arbitrage for a long time and, first of all, created it for ourselves and our daily arbitrage trading, but this does not prevent you from using it at your discretion for any types of assets and in any markets.
We have a lighter version of the indicator that allows you to track the spread for only one trading pair or three at the same time. In these versions you can also view the chart of the spread itself, which can be useful for assessing the nature of the spread movement in the history. If this indicator seems too heavy for you and your device, you can use these lighter versions:
🧩 Arbitrage Spread v1 : 1 pair + 1 chart
🧩 Arbitrage Spread v2 : 3 pairs + 3 charts
If, on the contrary, the capabilities of your hardware allow, do not forget that you can always add several indicators to your screen – for example, use the version with 12 pairs as a dashboard with many pairs, and in addition to it one of the versions with a spread chart and look at a more detailed picture of one or three instruments separately.

🧩 Arbitrage Spread v1 : 1 pair + 1 chart
🧩 Arbitrage Spread v2 : 3 pairs + 3 charts
Intraday volume pressureThis indicator shows the difference of bullish and bearish trading volume during intraday
The idea
Especially in "6E1!" it caught my eye, that often outside regular trading hours the price moves in one direction with thin volume and inside regular trading hours it moves back with much higher volume. It is possible, that the market closes e.g. with a plus. And over some days maybe you can see e.g. weak rising prices. But in this time the movements with high volume are going down every day. And one day - maybe within view minutes - the market rushs a level deeper.
Maybe some are manipulating the market in this way, maybe not, it doesn't matter. So my question was, can I find a way to show such divergences? I guess I can do.
How to use this indicator
Use it at your own risk! I don't take over any responsibility. You are the only one, who is responsible for your decisions. Always collect information from different independent sources!
Watch it in the daily chart - not intraday, not weekly! Of course this indicator just analyzes the past as all indicators. Everytime everything may happen that influences the market in any direction, no indicator can predict any news.
Watch it in sideways market or when the price is moving quite slow over days! An average volume pressure
below zero shows a volume-driven bearish pressure
above zero shows a volume-driven bullish pressure
of the last days. So there is a chance, that the market may follow the volume pressure within the next days. But of course, I cannot guarantee anything. The indicator just can give you an idea, why this will happen, when it will happens. Otherwise, the indicator indicated nothing helpfull.
Of course you also can try other securities. Maybe it will work there better or worse - difficult to say. I guess, it depends on the market.
Possible settings aside of colors
Intraday minute bars: Default is 15 minutes, in 6E in my point of view it is a good value. If you choose a smaller value, the chart gets too noisy, the results are getting too small. With a bigger timeframe some moves are hidden in bigger candles, the results are getting a large spread
Average over days: Default is 5 days - so one week. In 6E in my point of view it is a good value. A smaller value is too noisy. A bigger value reacts too slow. Often 6E has a trend over weeks. Sometimes it changes within some days - the indicator may help. But sometimes the market changes with a buying or selling climax. Such a case this indicator cannot recognize. But with the 5 days average maybe you get a change in the indicator within one or two days. Anyway, it is always a good idea to learn recognizing climaxes otherwise.
How the indicator works
It uses the function request.security_lower_tf to get the intraday candles. The volume of intraday up-candles is added to the intraday summary volume. The volume of down candles is substracted from the intraday summary volume.
In the oscillator area I plot a green bar on a day with a higher close than open and a red bar on a day with a lower close than open. The bar has a positive value, if the volume pressure is positive and a negative value if the volume pressure is negative. So it happens, that a green bar has a negative value or a red bar has a positive value.
The average is calculated with a floating sum. Once we have enough days calculated, I devide the floating sum by the length of the "Average over days" and plot the result. Then I substract the first value of the queue and I remove it.
DSKOLI TableThis helps to determine bullish or bearish trend of any chart on any generally available time-frame and good to have for Intraday watch.

█ LIMITATIONS
1. Table is limited to intraday timeframe only as time format is not accurate for daily timeframe and above. Example daily timeframe will give result less 1 day from actual date.
2. I did not include other sources such external source or any built in sources such as hl2, hlc3, ohlc4 and hlcc4.
█ CODE EXPLAINATION
I pretty much create custom function with method which returns tuple value.
method crossVariant(float price = na, chart.point ref = na) =>
cross = ta.cross( price, ref.price)
over = ta.crossover( price, ref.price)
under = ta.crossunder(price, ref.price)
Unfortunately, I unable make the labels into array which i plan to return string value by getting the text value from array label, hence i use label.all and add incremental int value as reference.
series label labelCross = na, labelCross.delete()
var int num = 0
if over
num += 1
labelCross := label.new()
if under
num += 1
labelCross := label.new()
if cross
num += 1
labelCross := label.new()
I realised cross value can be overlap with crossover and crossunder, hence I add bool to enable force overlap and add additional bools.
series label labelCross = na, labelCross.delete()
var int num = 0
if forceOverlap
if over
num += 1
labelCross := label.new()
if under
num += 1
labelCross := label.new()
if cross
num += 1
labelCross := label.new()
else
if cross and over
num += 1
labelCross := label.new()
if cross and under
num += 1
labelCross := label.new()
if cross and not over and not under
num += 1
labelCross := label.new()

ATR SpikeALWAYS TRADE THE DIRECTION OF THE TREND
This indicator is useful for 5-minute Bank Nifty intraday trading.
It compares the Open-Close value for a 5-minute bar with the current ATR value.
When a bar has higher than the ATR value then it means that the current bar has a higher Open-Close than the ATR.
This means that after a period of dull action, some action has taken place.
And more action will follow in the direction of the immediate trend.
It signals the start of momentum which I look for as a intraday trader.
Feel free to experiment and change values as it suits you.
I use it on Bank Nifty only on 5 minute timeframe with 14 period ATR.
PDHL levels with INTRADAY Auto FIBThe present script includes Previous day High/low levels and once the PDH or PDL breaks the present bar's background changes color according to the direction of price breakout.
It's helpful when working on lower timeframe charts with small screen space, so that the user can know that the PDHL has been taken out in one glance at the chart instead of scrolling all around to find out whether the PDH or PDL are broken or not.
The high and low of day before yesterday are also plotted for reference.
The intraday fib levels get drawn taking present day's high and low into account, useful to mark support/retest levels.
The color of the intraday AUTO FIB high and low lines also change from gray to respective assigned colors once the present day price crosses PDH or PDL this is helpful while viewing charts on mobile app.
Disclaimer: Only for studying price movement ideas, trading is not advised.

Inside Candle by HarshiniThe concept behind this indicator is that the inside candle indicates a pause in the current move and the following candle after inside candle will indicate the direction of the next move. This indicator informs you when an inside candle is formed and based on the next candle, it gives you buy/sell signal.
When an inside candle is formed, a label will appear above the candle, which makes it very easy to identify the inside candle in live charts. Once the inside candle is formed, the Buy/Sell signal depends on the next candle. If the candle formed after the inside candle gives a breakout above then "Buy" signal is indicated, you can take a trade with 1:2 risk reward. Similarly if the next candle gives a breakout below, then a "Sell" signal is generated and you can take a sell with 1:2 risk reward. This indicator can be applied to any chart like stocks, crypto, commodities etc...
Here's how you can trade using this indicator:
1) Apply this indicator in a 15 mins time frame :
Even though this indicator identifies inside candle formation in almost every time frame, it works very well when applied to a 15 mins chart.
2) Always keep minimum 1:2 Risk Reward :
While taking trades initially, stick on to 1:2 risk reward. If there are other confluences as well along with the inside candle, you can book target accordingly.
Note : It is observed that this indicator works well in a trending market and not in ranging bound market.
Intraday trading period indicatorI have created this indicator because I was in a need of simple indication of personal session time for my backtesting while practicing intraday Futures trading.
How it works:
1. Define your timezone.
2. Set Trading session start/end time.
3. Choose the colour you want to see your intraday session in.
Actual result: Your selected session is displayed with selected colour and within selected time period. Your are good to go.
It is not perfect for sure but it does what it needs to do and I think it is awesome.
Hope it will be useful for you and let the Profit be with you!
Pi - Intraday High-Low Predictor
Pi - Intraday High-Low Predictor
This is not my Strategy/Research , I've just coded it into a indicator.
I found it interesting & useful so I'm sharing it here.
This Strategy/Research is by Kshirod Chandra Mohanty ( y-o-u-t-u-b-e : Trade with IITIAN )
You can watch his video on y-o-u-t-u-b-e for more info on this one.
the video has following title :
"1Cr Paid Strategy For Free || 10000 Subscribers Special Giveaway || How to find Day High or Low"
This will not tell you which is day high or day low, but it will help you to predict the day high from a day low and day low from a day high.
It will give you a possible range to which the prices could move to.
He has explained/used this on Banknifty.
How to Find out Day High from Day Low & Day Low from Day High :-
He uses the value of Pi (3.14) and the Range of 1st 5minute candle to find out the possible highs from day low and the possible lows from day high.
Range = value of Pi * 1st 5minutes Range
Small range = Range / 2
Large range = Range + Small range
so to find out the possible lows from day high we do following calculations
Small range low = day high - Small range
Range low = day high - Range
Large range low = day high - Large range
and to find out the possible highs from day low we do following calculations
Small range high = day low + Small range
Range high = day low + Range
Large range high = day low + Large range
Note :- This Indicator does Repaint in following ways,
As the script uses the Day High to predict the possible lows ,
so if it's an up-trending day and price keeps on making new High's then the ranges for lows will keep on changing.
similarly the script uses the Day Low to predict the possible high's ,
so if it's an down-trending day and price keeps on making new Low's then the ranges for highs will keep on changing.
My observations / thoughts about this :-
This script does not provide buy/sell recommendations. it just provides possible ranges to where prices can go from Day-High & Day-Low.
It's better to avoid trading when the price is trading between the Small range high & Small range low levels.
As it has high probability that it will be a range bound day and price will stay in between those two levels.
There is a high probability that it will be a trending day if price breaks either the Small range high/low ,
then the price could move to Range low/high.
If price breaks from Range High/Low then there is a high probability that it will be a trending day and the price could move to Large Range low/high.
Note :- If you want to use this on instruments/scripts/indexes which are active for large session such as forex/cryptos , then i suggest that you use the Opening Range period of 4Hours i.e 240minutes, to get better results.
using the default setting of 5minutes will not give good results on them.
play around with this value to find out which one suits that instrument/script/index the best.
Don't trust these levels blindly, do backtest or live testing of this then use for real trade if you want.
Use Price action near these levels to make any trading decision's.
The script provides following options :
1. Option to display Ranges in a Table (which you can enable/hide as you wish)
You can set the Table's location, size , background color & text color according to your preference.
2. Option to enable/hide Predicted-Highs from Day-Low on chart.
3. Option to enable/hide Predicted-Lows from Day-High on chart.
4. Option to set the Opening range period - here you can select your preferred opening range for calculation purpose.
5. Option to enable/hide historical levels on chart.
6. Options to customize the colors & line styles for lines.
7. Options to customize the colors , position & size for labels.
Intraday Mean Reversion Money Performance indicatorThe diagram shows Money Performance when buying stocks for 10 000 at every buy signal from the Intraday Mean Reversion indicator.
The indicator is best used in combination with Intraday Mean Reversion Main Indicator
The rules for trading are: Buy on Open price if the Intraday Mean Reversion Main indicator gives a buy signal. Sell on the daily close price.
According to my knowledge it is not possible to create a PineScript strategy based on these rules, because the indicator is used on Day to Day graph. Therefore this indicator can be used to analyze Money performance of this strategy.
The lines show the performance of the Intraday Mean Reversion Strategy, based on the different levels in the strategy (from 0.5 Standard deviation to 1.1 standard deviation)
Using this indicator it is possible to find stocks that often reverse towards mean after open.
Use this strategy on stocks with high positive performance. Do not use on stocks with negative performance.
Intraday Mean Reversion MainThe Intraday Mean Reversion Indicator works well on certain stocks. It should be used for day trading stocks but need to be applied on the Day to Day timeframe.
The logic behind the indicator is that stocks that opens substantially lower than yesterdays close, very often bounces back during the day and closes higher than the open price, thus the name Intraday Mean reversal. The stock so to speak, reverses to the mean.
The indicator has 7 levels to choose from:
0.5 * standard deviation
0.6 * standard deviation
0.7 * standard deviation
0.8 * standard deviation
0.9 * standard deviation
1.0 * standard deviation
1.1 * standard deviation
The script can easily be modified to test other levels as well, but according to my experience these levels work the best.
The info box shows the performance of one of these levels, chosen by the user.
Every Yellow bar in the graph shows a buy signal. That is: The stocks open is substantially lower (0.5 - 1.1 standard deviations) than yesterdays close. This means we have a buy signal.
The Multiplier shows which multiplier is chosen, the sum shows the profit following the strategy if ONE stock is bought on every buy signal. The Ratio shows the ratio between winning and losing trades if we followed the strategy historically.
We want to find stocks that have a high ratio and a positive sum. That is More Ups than downs. A ratio over 0.5 is good, but of course we want a margin of safety so, 0.75 is a better choice but harder to find.
If we find a stock that meets our criteria then the strategy will be to buy as early as possible on the open, and sell as close as possible on the close!
Gamma Bands v. 7.0Gamma Bands are based on previous day data of base intrument, Volatility , Options flow (imported from external source Quandl via TradingView API as TV is not supporting Options as instruments) and few other additional factors to calculate intraday levels. Those levels in correlation with even pure Price Action works like a charm what is confirmed by big orders often placed exactly on those levels on Futures Contracts. We have levels +/- 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0 that are calculated from Pivot Point and are working like Support and Resistance. Higher the number of Gamma, stronger the level. Passing Gamma +1/-1 would be good entry point for trades as almost everytime it is equal to Trend Day. Levels are calculated by Machine Learning algorithm written in Python which downloads data from Options and Darkpool markets, process and calculate levels, export to Quandl and then in PineScript I import the data to indicator. Levels are refreshed each day and are valid for particular trading day.
There's possibility also to enable display of Initial Balance range (High and Low range of bars/candles from 1st hour of regular cash session). Breaking one of extremes of Initial Balance is very often driving sentiment for rest of the session.
Volatility Reversal Levels
They're calculated taking into account Options flow imported to TV (Strikes, Call/Put types & Expiration dates) in combination with Volatility, Volume flow. Based on that we calculate on daily basis Significant Close level and "Stop and Reversal level".
Very often reaching area close to those levels either trigger immediate reversal of previous trend or at least push price into consolidation range.
RiverFlow ADX ScreenerRiverFlow ADX Screener, Scans ADX and Donchian Trend values across various Timeframes. This screener provides support to the Riverflow indicator. Riverflow concept is based on Two indicators. Donchian Channel and ADX or DMI.
How to implement?
1.Donchian Channel with period 20
2. ADX / DMI 14,14 threshold 20
Entry / Exit:
1. Buy/Sell Signal from ADX Crossovers.
2. Trend Confirmation Donchian Channel.
3. Major Trend EMA 200
Buy/Sell:
After a buy/sell is generated by ADX Crossover, Check for Donchian Trend. it has to be in same direction as trend. for FTT trades take 2x limit. for Forex and Stocks take 1:1.5, SL must be placed below recent swing. One can use Riverflow indicator for better results.
ADX Indicator is plotted with
Plus: Green line
Minus: Red Line
ADX strength: plotted as Background area.
TREND: Trend is represented by Green and Red Area around Threshold line
Table:
red indicates down trend
green indicates up trend
grey indicates sideways
Weak ADX levels are treated sideways and a channel is plotted on ADX and PLUS and MINUS lines . NO TRADES are to be TAKEN on within the SIDEWAYS region.
Settings are not required as it purely works on Default settings. However Donchian Length can be changed from settings.
Timeframes below 1Day are screened. Riverflow strategy works on timeframe 5M and above timeframe. so option is not provided for lower timeframes.
Best suits for INTRADAY and LONG TERM Trading
