Returns Since PivotReturns Since Pivot (RSP) helps to analyze the trend and seasonality.
This indicator draws 2 separate lines
green - upward movement
red - downward movement
Unlike other trend indicators, it's important that even while uptrend you can still see the power of downward moves that occurred during move up.
Hints and setups:
1) Helps to identify clear up trend from the noisy/mixed one: clearly growing non-interrupted green line, without significant negative red lines.
2) Helps to see potential trend reversal: for example, clear strong green line was interrupted for a brief price drop. Then the uptrend continues, you see clear green line again. But -- it's visible that new green line is way less strong, so the price might have exhausted.
3) While trading on 5 min chart, you can set RSP to 1 hour, or 4 hours to get a clear picture of price action on macro timeframe.
4) Indicator is normalized, so you can compare different coins. For example, after the big drop and rebound, you can use RSP to understand which coin had more powerful rebound, thus potentially will be a best gainer in case if the market continues go up.
Rebound
Deviations from ARL (DARL)Similar to Bollinger Bands, this indicator uses standard deviations but from Adaptive Rebound Lines (See: 'ARL').
The adaptiveness of the 'ARL' is further affected by volatility and helps greatly in spotting the possible strength and direction of rebounds.
All this information is presented with minimal lag thanks to the rebound qualities of the 'ARL' adapting to market volatility.
----- HOW TO USE IT -----
1) Use with 1h time frame.
2) Smaller width typically means that price will be moving is smaller movements.
3) Small price movements while the width is increasing typically means that a large price move will occur soon.
4) Larger width typically means that price will be moving in larger movements.
5) Very large width with sideways price typically means that the price will have a bias towards the center.
Note: A V-Offset of 1 is also a good setting alternative for this indicator.
----- HOW THIS INDICATOR IS ORIGINAL; WHAT IT DOES AND HOW IT DOES IT -----
This indicator has an original, unique ability in anticipating the strength and direction of a price rebound while at the same time showing the bias of the rebound with minimal lag.
It does this by letting the adaptive qualities of the 'ARL' be affected by market volatility, not just by price movement alone.
----- VERSION -----
This indicator is not a variation, replacement, or presentation of the 'ARL' or the 'ARL' Bands -- it merely derives its base calculations for standard deviations from the 'ARL'.
However, this indicator affects the calculations of the standard 'ARL' with volatility and creates a new, unique calculation.
It thus presents a totally different context for price action.
A standard 'ARL' helps in finding possible rebounds but it does not help in finding the strength of them or the directional bias of a rebound.
This is because a standard 'ARL' is more negligent of market volatility and adapts to price movement alone.
In contrast, this indicator does help in anticipating the strength and direction of the rebound because it adapts deviations from an 'ARL' to market volatility.
Therefore, the lines cannot be adjusted individually but in pairs and only further from their respective, mirroring lines.
Bottom Touch[Dizart]--------------- ---------------
The indicator determines the bottom in the market, from which a rebound or a global reversal may start with a high probability. Works on any symbol or market.
tuning - If the asset is low volatility, then the price often does not reach the bottom. Adjust the `Bottom Touch` to the closest bottom on the graph.
--------------- ---------------
Price reversal intraday IndicatorIndicator “Price reversal intraday”
Class : oscillator
Trading type : scalping+intraday trading
Time frame : 15-30 min
Purpose : trading on rebounds and reversals
Level of aggressiveness : aggressive
“Price reversal intraday (PRI)” indicator is designed for aggressive intraday trading on rebounds and reversals. It belongs to oscillators. The idea that formed the basis for the creation of “Price reversal intraday (PRI)” is to obtain a synergistic effect from the use of the best oscillatory techniques: modified Bollinger bands and the classic RSI oscillator.
The indicator, using advanced Bollinger technique, monitors the deviation of the current price from the equilibrium value, and then with the help of the RSI oscillator it determines the moment when this deviation reaches a critical point. As a result, a buy or sell signal is generated, which is displayed on the chart in order to facilitate the trading process as much as possible.
Structure of the indicator
Indicator consists of the following elements:
- red zone – indication of a sell zone. Entry into this zone is a signal to close long positions and search for entry points to sell asset;
- red line – extremely high positive deviation of current price from its equilibrium value;
- blue zone - indication of a buy zone. Entry into this zone is a signal to close short positions and search for entry points to buy asset;
- blue line – extremely high negative deviation of current price from its equilibrium value.
Parameters of the indicator
To configure the indicator, the following parameters are provided:
- RSI_period (default value is 8) - period for calculating the RSI oscillator.
- Ranger_period (default value - 21) - period for calculating the modified Bollinger bands.
- Ranger_width (default value - 1) - the parameter used to control the level of aggressiveness of the indicator and frequency of signals. The lower it is, the more signals the indicator will generate. Possible values from 0 to 3.
- ob (the default value is 60) - this parameter defines the overbought zone for the RSI indicator.
- os (the default value is 40) - this parameter defines the oversold zone for the RSI indicator.
Rules of trading
The main task of the trader using indicator is to monitor the location of the current market price relative to the extreme zones (blue/red). Entering the red zone is a signal for closing long positions and searching for sell entry points. Entering the blue zone is a signal for closing short positions and searching for buy entry points.
The appearance of a blue triangle with the inscription “BUY” on the chart is a signal to open buy positions, and a red triangle with the inscription “SELL” is a signal for sale.
