VXZ trade ideas
VXX holding steady on support levelVXX hang in there and staying right on the support level. MACD starting to move from green to red, which means a drop may be coming. I am still have this gut feeling that it wants to drop to the bottom of the trading channel before we see it make a big rally.
Just in case you care where my trend lines originate from. Not a good view for seeing details.
Getting pretty oversold on the 1D time frame and the MACD is getting close to switch form red to green.

VXX trend line updateUpdate after Tuesday's trading. It may have found a bottom. Be interesting to see if it is ready to break out.

VXX trend lines and channels - Has the fall stopped?VXX has been falling hard the last week. Riding down and jumping around on the trend lines. Currently touch the last major S/R from end of Feb. Is this going to be the end or will it drop a little lower to the bottom of the channel before rallying?
$VXX 10.7 FOMC TRADE VXX 9 OCT 25 C LOOK CHEAP HERE @ 0.29 C. I believe this is coiling for FOMC and the Bulls are getting traped in Indicies. Let's see what the FOMC news brings at 2 pm.

VXX trading channelA look at the current VXX trading channels. Currently riding a long the support of the major channel. There looks to be a small down channel where it may do a deeper test of support. If this pattern holds, then VXX is making higher lows. Does that mean we will see a new set of higher highs?
[UVXY/VXX] Another Volatility Ratio for the Collection!This one is very interesting.
I'm thinkin this will hit the bottom purple line again in another big crash (or "crash" over many months too), maybe about half the size of March crash.
Looks like it's almost exactly repeating March mini doubletop at the peak too in addition the bigger, more obvious doubletop.
Let's see what happens! B)
VXX with get in 2nd wave of FiboVXX getting a good consolidation last week and ready to play in the 2nd wave of Fibo
[UVXY] Volatility Matrix: Everything Still Lookin Quite Bullish!Got so caught up in SPX I neglected the Volatility Matrix! Haven't even peeked since my last post weeks ago but everything looking great still.
We have Large BUYs on all 4 of these + VXN with only one of the 5 having any significant SELL signals, VIX, with a Small SELL and brief Short Entry Window (but still leaning pretty BULLISH overall).
This suggests an even greater likelihood that volatility will spike soon and adds more supporting data to my generally BEARISH view of the markets right now.
VXX trend linesVXX not ready yet. Looks to me that it is consolidating. True breakout still to come.
VXX end of week updateVXX still holding in there. Good little rally today for S&P and NASDAQ but VXX only dropped a little. Just a touch outside of it main support. I am feeling like a move to the upside next week.
VXX - Here is my planI see another setup similar to the end of August. I am hoping for a another medium bounce. Fingers crossed!
VXX 23.8 level breakout, needs to hold levelVXX just broke the 23.8 Fibb level, needs to hold above and form new resistance to confirm a 12345 wave formation, or be rejected, and from B-->C wave down. Just based on overall market, I am short term bullish until the election, so my primary call is down, but I will follow up should markets begin to slip. Copyright Rohan Karunaratne 2020
VXX - What's the plan?Not really sure where the VXX is headed. The S&P staged a small rally today, but the VXX kind of just hung around oscillating up and down. Usually the VXX drops pretty steadily after it spikes, but not this time. If the S&P was staging a rally I would have expected it to drop much faster. I am leaning towards the S&P continuing on down, but I am getting conflicting signals.
What are your thoughts?
