Perenti Ltd. is a mining and energy services company, which engages in the provision of exploration, mine development, surfacing and underground mining, and energy and infrastructure services. It operates through the following segments: Contract Mining, Drilling Services, Mining Services and Idoba, and Corporate. The Contract Mining segment provides underground and surface contract mining services. The Drilling Services segment offers drilling services across all stages of the mine life cycle. The Mining Services and Idoba segment includes equipment hire, equipment parts and sales, supply of equipment, logistics services, and technology driven products and services. The Corporate segment focuses on corporate activity covering strategy, treasury, accounting, human resources, information technology, procurement, legal, risk, investor relations, and other corporate administration. The company was founded by James Edward Askew and Ronald George Sayers in 1987 and is headquartered in Perth, Australia.
