However, as expected, one word from Trump and made the market spiraling again. Because of the hold on tariff announcement, we are now back to 3170 level again. Howver, for me, moves like these are always good opportunity for retracement. It breaks highs or lows just enough to activate stop losses or attract breakout traders, only to reverse. Buying dips or selling rallies protects you from these traps by entering from value, not hype. ________________________________________ 2. ✅ I get better stop-loss placement and risk:reward When I buy a dip, I can place my stop below a strong level (like a support zone or swing low). That gives me tight risk and allows for big reward potential—often 1:2, 1:3 or more. Breakout trades, on the other hand, often require wider stops or result in poor entries due to emotional execution. ________________________________________ 3. ⏳ I get time to assess the market False breakouts happen fast. But dips usually form more gradually. That gives me time to analyze price action, spot confirmation signals, and even scratch the trade at breakeven if it starts to fail. This reduces emotional decisions and increases my accuracy. ________________________________________ 4. 🎯 Gold respects key levels more than it respects momentum Even in strong trends, Gold often retraces deeply and retests zones before continuing. That means entries near key levels—on a dip or rally—are more reliable than chasing price. I’d rather wait for the zone than jump in mid-air. ________________________________________ 5. 🔁 Even in aggressive trends, Gold often reverts to the mean Lately, Gold has been trending hard—no doubt. But even during explosive moves, it frequently pulls back to key moving averages or demand zones. But what usually happens? The breakout fails, and the price returns to structure. The previous daily candle is a large doji, indicating that the market is consolidating. I think the price may continue to move sideways until the NFP data is released. HelenP. I Gold may continue to fall and break support levelHi folks today I'm prepared for you Gold analytics. After failing to hold above the resistance zone between 3140 and 3155 points, Gold made a sharp reversal. The strong bearish reaction from this area marked the end of the previous bullish momentum and triggered an aggressive sell-off. That move broke several minor support levels and pushed the price all the way down to the current support zone between 3010 and 2990 points. Previously, Gold had shown a stable uptrend, consistently bouncing from the trend line and using it as a dynamic support. Each pullback was met with buying pressure, allowing the price to climb higher. However, this time, after reaching the 3140 resistance level, buyers were overwhelmed by strong selling activity. Currently, Gold is trading just above the key support zone and close to the trend line. This area has acted as a pivot level multiple times, but the latest price action shows hesitation from buyers and growing control from sellers. Given the recent sharp decline, the break from the resistance zone, and the pressure near the current support, I expect Gold to continue falling toward 2960 points — my current goal. A few days ago price rebounded from the trend line and started to grow inside the upward channel. In this channel, the price rose to support 2, which coincided with the support zone and soon broke this area. Then it continued to move up and rose to resistance line of channel, but soon it turned around and made small movement below, after which continued to grow near this line little below. Later, Gold made a correction movement to support 2, which coincided with the trend line and then continued to move up inside the channel. In a short time later it reached support 1, which coincided with one more support zone and also broke this level too. Price some time traded near this level and later made impulse up, exiting from channel pattern and then it at once turned around and made correction movement to support 1. Gold even declined a little below this level, but a not long time ago, it backed up. Now, I expect that XAUUSD will start to decline to the trend line, thereby breaking the support level. Then Gold touched the upper boundary, made a reversal, and exited from the channel with a sharp impulse. After that, the price reached $2970 support level and bounced, forming a triangle pattern with a narrowing range. Recently, it made a breakout above $3095 zone but quickly faced resistance at the upper line of triangle. Now, Gold trades inside triangle structure and shows weakness near resistance area without strong breakout. Gold may break support level and continue to decline nextHello traders, I want share with you my opinion about Gold. The price started to grow from the buyer zone between 2885–2905 points, forming a clean bullish impulse and entering a broadening wedge structure. During the uptrend, Gold made several rebounds from the support line and broke above the current support level at 3070, which later became a key point in the price structure. After reaching the resistance line of the wedge, the price turned around and began a downward correction. The decline brought it back into the support area between 3087–3070 points, but this zone has already failed to hold the momentum. Currently, XAU is trading below the upper boundary of the support area and showing clear signs of weakness. The breakout to the downside from the wedge structure has already taken place, and the price is starting to form a local pullback. I expect this pullback to be short-lived, followed by a continuation of the downward movement. My target for this move is the 2990 level, which aligns with the support line of the broadening wedge and serves as the next strong reaction zone. Given the failed rebound from resistance, the breakdown of the support area, and the structure of the broadening wedge, I remain bearish and expect Gold to continue declining toward TP 1 — 2990 level.
