Gold Wave Analysis – 7 April 2025 - Gold reversed from round support level 3000.00 - Likely to rise to resistance level 3100.00 Gold recently reversed up from the support area between the round support level 3000.00 (which stopped the earlier minor correction iv in the middle of March) and the lower daily Bollinger Band. This support area was further strengthened by the support trendline of the daily up channel from January and by the 50% Fibonacci correction of the sharp upward impulse from February. Given the strong uptrend on the daily and weekly charts, Gold can be expected to rise to the next resistance level 3100.00.

We started the day with our Bullish target 3090 hit, followed with 3103 and then cross and lock confirmation to complete 3117. We also got the cross and lock above 3117 to open 3128 and just fell short of a pip. We will keep this full gap in mind, as we continue with our plans to buy dips Rejection at this level will see lower Goldlturns tested and likely continue to see bounces on the weighted Goldturn levels, which we can use inline with our plans to buy dips. Earlier, the price was moving inside a consolidation range between 2955 and 2880 points. It tested the support zone multiple times, specifically the area between 2865 and 2880, before making a strong bullish reversal. After bouncing from Support 2 at the 2880 level, Gold began a confident upward movement. It broke through the resistance zone and exited the consolidation pattern, forming a clear uptrend and respecting the trend line throughout the rise. As the price climbed, it reached Support 1 at the 3055 level and paused briefly, consolidating near the support zone between 3055 and 3070. This zone held well, acting as a base for further growth. From there, the price made another upward impulse, reaching the 3125 area before pulling back slightly for a local correction. Currently, Gold is trading above the trend line and remains within a bullish structure. The recent reaction from the support zone confirms buyer strength and interest in higher levels. Given the previous impulse, the trend line support, and price action above key zones, I expect XAUUSD to continue rising toward the 3180 points, my current goal. Retracement for gold after strong job dataGold posted its first weekly loss in a month on 4 April as the American job report came in much stronger than expected amid the backdrop of general fear in markets after the start of the new phase of the trade war. Usually the yellow metal has a degree of inverse correlation with major indices, but in the current situation of an ongoing crash for the S&P 500 and others, general panic can cause most investors to run for the door initially. Broadly, there doesn’t seem to be a fundamental justification for gold to decline significantly, since economic headwinds should drive the Fed to be more dovish. The price is in the process of testing the 161.8% monthly Fibonacci extension. If successful, the next significant support would probably be $3,000, followed by February’s highs around $2,950. The large spike in buying volume during 3 May’s decline and the long tail that day might make an extended correction unfavourable, but some consolidation lower might be necessary before another round of gains given how strong the overbought signal had been late last month. In this situation, it’s potentially very risky both to try to ‘catch the knife’ and to go with the apparent flow and sell. The next major data due is American inflation on 10 April, which might give more useful information to work with than headlines. This is my personal opinion, not the opinion of Exness. THE KOG REPORT - UpdateEnd of day update from us here at KOG: Quiet day on the markets today, while we wanted gold to reject the resistance level it breached giving the move upside completing the bias levels. It's a move we ideally wanted to take from below, but nothing ventured nothing gained as they say. Now we have support below at the 3115 region with resistance in a potential order region 3130-35, which could be the potential level they target for the close or during the Asian session. It's the last day of the month and the first day of a new month tomorrow. For that reason we're taking it lightly trading the red boxes only for scalps up here. 3135 is the level to watch we feel.
