Gold's Rollercoaster: From 3167 ATH to 2950 Support–What's Next?Since the beginning of the year, Gold has been on an impressive uptrend, gaining over 5000 pips, culminating with last week's ATH at 3167. As I highlighted throughout last week's analyses, even though we're in a strong uptrend, the price was too far deviated from the mean, making a correction inevitable. ✅ Friday Recap: After testing the resistance zone formed at 3135-3140, Gold dropped hard, closing the week 1000 pips lower from its peak during Friday's session. 📉 Recent Developments: The correction continued yesterday, with Gold recently touching an important confluence support around 2950. 📈 What's Next? Closing excellent Buying orderAs discussed throughout my yesterday's session commentary: "My position: I have Sold Gold throughout yesterday' session twice from #3,035.80 - #3,042.80 (closed both on #3,015.80) and Bought Gold on #2,065.80 and kept order over-night / closing #3,011.80 few moments ago which is excellent Price-action to Profit on and I am looking forward for today's opportunities. I do expect Gold to remain in #2,952.80 - #3,052.80 range for a while where I will Buy and Sell respectively from my calculated re-Sell and re-Buy zones." I have closed Buying order I kept over-night where I bought #2,982.80 Double Bottom and closed my order all the way on #3,027.80 firstly, then re-Bought Gold there towards #3,042.80 local High's. I am more than satisfied with my Profit and won't make any more Trades today.

THE KOG REPORT - NFP UpdateEnd of day update from us here at KOG: An absolutely crazy day on the markets with Gold continuing the move it started and completing hopefully now at the extreme level we wanted on the KOG Report. Our indicators were screaming short, we obliged and then waited for the lower level to give us a 90pip bounce initially with the support still holding us up. We now have support below at 3020-18 which if broken can take us down into 3010 for another potential RIP, otherwise, resistance here stands at the 3050-55 level which if targeted will need to break to go higher! We're done for another successful week on the markets and will be back on Sunday for the KOG Report and our view for the week ahead. Wishing you all a great weekend and as always, trade safe. GOLD WEEKLY CHART MID/LONG TERM ROUTE MAPHey Everyone, Following on from yesterdays update on our mid/long term route map after completing the 1h, 4h and daily chart route maps. We completed 3094 target and stated that we will now need this weeks candle to finish and close and/or ema5 lock above 3094 to open the gap above. - Looking like no close above 3094 on the weekly candle, if price stays below this level on market close. Amazing to see the weighted levels levels being respected like this to allow us to identify new range gaps or rejections. We will be looking for support and bounce on the channel half line or a cross and lock below the half line will open the lower range for the channel low Goldturns. This is the beauty of our channels, which we draw in our unique way, using averages rather than price. This enables us to identify fake-outs and breakouts clearly, as minimal noise in the way our channels are drawn. We will now come back Sunday with our updated Multi time-frame analysis, Gold route map and trading plans for the week ahead and also a new Daily chart long term chart idea, now that this one is complete. My take on Gold. It's a difficult one..This is the read that makes most sense to me. And I have zoomed all the way into 15m, for you to be able to see my thoughts around it all. For that wave down from April 2nd to April 7th to make any sense to me, I have labeled it as W-X-Y to complete (A). At first I had labeled it as a diagonal, but then price should not have retraced as much as it has since April 7th. And I also believed Gold has finished a 5th of a 5th wave, so we need to see some more correction before price head to the upside again. I simply can't read the retracement back up since the April 7th as a A-B-C, and this is why I believe price is just finishing up the A wave (and it might already have) before it goes into the B correction. The initiated wave down (wave B of (B)) I believe will go down to 3,044 - 3,013 level and then finish of the flat with a wave C of (C). This wave C should be able to go to the 3,130 - 3200 level. But as I said, first we spend some days to the downside heading for that 3,044 - 3,013 level. What is your current take on gold?
