Qtum looking for a bounceQTUM has been under pressure as well.
The downward trend line connecting lower highs has been broken as the price closed below it. The RSI is also near the highs currently which points out to lower trading prices in the near future. As far as the Fibonacci retracement levels are concerned, the coin broke the key 61.8% level and for some time now trades below it. The next level of support is 78.6% which coincides with the horizontal level of support - 0.0012300. However, before we can think about making a move towards that level, a previous swing higher started from the 0.001500 level after creating a short-term bottom. Hence, we expect the price to hit this level first and bounce given its importance. Hence, a swing trades can be placed based on these levels:
Entry: 0.001500
SL: 0.001450
TP: 0.001600
We are looking for a re-test of the downward trend line that will now act as resistance. The trend line currently sits just above 0.001600.
R:R in this trade is 2:1.

It looks like it's been consolidating for the past couple of months. I am expecting a breakout soon. Lets stick with the first target and we will see how it goes.
The Qtum project will now switch its focus to more aggressive marketing efforts to push for more recognition and adoption. Project founder, Patrick Dai who leads the Qtum Coin team, tweeted recently about the new focus.

QTUMBTC may end of correction.I still douth the bullish movement but overall it seen positive may end with sub 5th wave ending diagonal of largeer C wave completon. The BTC indecision market holding me to made decision till there is a clear movement.
Indicator wise showing sign of divergent and OBV volume start with a small spike and the bullish engulfing candle indicate strong support.
The question what will you do or valid entry to get the potential low risk and high reward on the never the shortest 3rd wave???
- Triangle breakout trade?
- Wait for final retracement and ride the wave?
QTUM Price AnalysisRight now the price is precariously balanced on the .236 fib. It's last line of strong support before a large potential fall. Both the tenkan and kijun are working as resistance.
The stochastic RSI is tightening and nearing past support.
DIs are curling in a bearish direction and the ADX indicates the trend isn't very strong at the moment. But selling pressure is greater than buying.
The RVI is quite low which tells us the selling momentum and volatility is decreasing.
I would not expect any large price movements upward.

Here is my TA for QTUMBTC.
Qtum is what I would call a waiting time bomb that will explode in due time. The team is focusing on the development of the technology that is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the industry. They have already released the Qtum X86 Virtual Machine. QTUM/USD is trading at $14.70 at the time of writing, besides this a good entry position for such an asset.
Furthermore, the release of X86 Virtual Machine was a major milestone for the team, the community, and the larger crypto market. There is a need for platforms that support developers who want to launch their dApps. Qtum has joined the likes of Ethereum and NEO and is slowly becoming a go-to platform for developing applications. A platform that has a wider application has the ability to attract partners and can stay relevant in the market. Buying Qtum now could mean excellent returns in the near term.

After studying the chart again, an AltShark can be identified inside the Cypher called yesterday.
So for this next QTM move Targets are specified in the Green Boxes.

QUTUM.Qutum is an amazing project cause for how it is focused.. They are pointing specifically to certain range of 'customers' so in someway they are building some future basis for crypto revolution and tech evolution.. They have achieve the total compatibility between bitcoin core and ether protocols.. they are making one of the most stables platform for developers who are thinking to make their projects in the blockchain giving them the possibilitie even of create their own tokens or inner chains.
Beside that, nice things are coming for QTUM.. and one of them is the CYPHER completation OR eventually a SHARK.
If this goes like we hope.. QTUM IS READY and profits are over 50%
