Targets and buy-moment QTMUSDNow that QTMUSD was one of the top climbers of yesterday, I thought it might be interesting to see what may happen today.
Because of the trend not being able to set a new lower bottom, I assume that wave 4 is yet finished with a retracement of 76.47%.
I set my goals on 78.6% , 100% and 123.6% as seen in the chart. I myself bought a little bit to early at $ 55.7 at 6 am this morning (Holland, GMT+1). If you want to be a bit more sure, you can wait for it to set a higher top (what would be inherent to breaking out of the descending trendchannel (/FLAG?)) and then buy after a close around $ 62.5.
Also you can set the bands of your CCI to -150 and +150. Earlier big rises came along with a breakout out the +150 CCI-band, the 70 RSI-band and volume breaking through the MA. So if you want do reducse your risk. Wait for those indicators to jump in. ;)
Funny note: See how the retracement of the last subwave is EXACTLY the same as wave 4.

QTUM LongAfter the recent market correction, price has found support at the 0.5 Fib retracement level. if this level holds we could see a continuation of the uptrend, however the line of resistance could push price down.
QTUM buy opportunity, third wave is comingI see not only a third wave coming but also a MACD divergence forming. QTUM - Seeking Levels to Add LongtermQTUM' exploded the past few days, and though it has still not regained it's market share, it is quickly rising into the top 15 market cap. Now I am long term QTUM' as it has a great team and more importantly venture capitalists backing them including Roger Ver among many others.
Regardless of your feelings concerning Ver he was a visionary period! Proof? His bankroll!
The market is just becoming known to US' citizens and outside a few coins, most do not know much about the space. There are also Trillions sitting on the sidelines in the US' waiting to invest into something, and quite frankly the stock market is over bought at this time and pickers will be the winners next year by far.
Keep in mind stocks and equitites can remain overbought longer than most can be patient, and oversold longer than most can be liquid! Never bet against the market and never bet against visionaries!
Reality is QTUM' has run great along with several other coins the past few days. I locked in some profits on positions to reduce cost, and QTUM' is one of them.
Intent here as an Investor/Trader: To reduce cost per coin by shaving off some holdings and either trading a breakout to add, or cover my sells on a dip. I'm looking at overall market sentiment and it is very bullish right now.
A sale at $70 and buying back my coins at $75 would be a loss of $5 to those coins. However, I expect a pullback in the near term. I look to add in the $50-$55 area which would be a $20-$25 profit which I will use to simply increase position. So a 4/1 5/1 risk reward for me anyways.
Bottom line with the heavy hitters backing this coin, I would not be surprised to see it added to coinbase which will add to market cap.
Keep in mind I have strict rules when shorting (shaving off or selling) core positions for the longterm and though this is not a core position I am treating it here as such. I have a plan and a strategy to implement. This is a more complex strategy and involves several coins so it is not a simple buy here sell here, or short here buy here strategy. So my price levels may not be relative to another investor.
Regardless if it takes off and I miss the trade, or it pullsback to where I can add, it is never wrong to take profits in big moves so quickly like this.

Been watching QTUM since around $11, feel disappointed i missed the 6x boat but that's alright, we're only getting started!

TA says 2hr RSI is very oversold, ready to bounce back soon.
Once the whole 'flippening' FUD goes away, more money will flow into alts and qtum has shown that it can absorb quite a bit of this money lately.
6+hr RSI's are quite overbought however so there are chances of a nice pullback, but i personally like this coin and will hodl it even if the odds are against it.
Plus, the name's cool, and whether you like it or not that's solid grounds for investing ;)
QTUM - Another Quantum Leap?A bullish pennant is formed once again, similar to the one a few days ago that brought us to $70. Bollinger Band squeeze indicates that it's consolidating and we're looking for a breakout sooner or later. Buyers and sellers respecting the bottom trend line is a very bullish sign as now we have support at around $62 level.

QTUM - A Quantum Leap Forward After Another?Interestingly, after an intense rally up to $31 last night, BITTREX:QTUMUSD seems to be consolidating pretty well. It's always hovering above $27 USD which serves as a support level at this point. Here, we can see that a pennant is forming hence the spike in price when it broke out but dropped back inside due to low volume. It's going to be interesting to see what would happen in the next few hours. Will BITTREX:QTUMUSD undergo a major correction or is another quantum leap awaiting for us?

I am holding QTUM from the bottom, I would hold for the all time high of $19-20.
QTUM -- Waking UpAfter a double-bottom bounce at $9.78 one week ago, QTUM is currently on a week-long bull run, reaching prices as high as $19.78, which is well within striking distance of the all-time-high.
Large upper wicks of profit taking could indicate antsy token holders –those who bought near the all-time-high, have been disappointed by the price action, and are looking to recoup their losses.
We’re nearing overbought conditions on the daily time frame, and I expect a modest pullback before QTUM continues its upward trend. This is also indicated through the MACD on the 4 Hour timeframe, nearing a bearish cross in moving averages. Despite those bearish indicators, QTUM is solidly above the 200 MA on all timeframes thanks to this week’s run, and the bulls seem to be in control for the foreseeable future.
QTUM is currently sitting on the 0.786 Fibonacci retracement level (~$17.64). These levels are notoriously shaky, and rarely hold, except to launch price higher in the event of a larger bull run. A close above $18.65 with significant volume would indicate such a bull run. If the 0.786 does not hold, I expect QTUM to retrace to the 0.618 Fib level (~$15.96) with some possible support around $16.41. The 0.618 Fib has been a critical level for QTUM, acting as resistance since the major dump this past September, and I would be surprised if we broke it now that we're so solidly above it.
If we do break below the 0.618 Fib level and the soft support of $15.72, we could be looking at a much more serious correction that could reach as low as $12 or $13, where our last major support was on this phenomenal (and hopefully continuing) bull run.
I do not expect a full retracement to last week’s low of $9.78. DYOR, TNFA, etc.
