THE KOG REPORT - UpdateEnd of day update from us here at KOG: A very good end to the week on Gold with the level we wanted holding, the long into resistance working well and then the RIP from that level into the lower levels we wanted completing KOG's bias level targets for the day. We're now at a crucial level coming up to the close of the weekly candle and there is likely to be a late session fight for the close. Resistance now stands at the red box 3020-24 with support below at 3010 which may need a further push up into resistance to come back and break. In any case, we're done for the day and the week, no more gold trading into the close. GOLD → Consolidation (correction) before growth to $3100FX:XAUUSD is going into consolidation after strong growth on the back of dollar correction. The metal may test deeper support areas before attempting a new high Gold is correcting, but remains in an uptrend The decline in quotations may be seen as a buying opportunity, given the economic uncertainty due to Trump's tariffs and expectations of Fed rate cuts. The Fed reiterated its forecast of two rate cuts in 2025 despite Powell's cautious comments. Gold is further supported by rising inflation risks and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Resistance levels: 3045, 3057 Support levels: 3024, trending, 3004 Reaction to support is weakening, even amid the uptrend. Gold may stay in this consolidation until the middle of next week, or it may try to break out of the consolidation to retest deeper support zones, such as the rising trend line or the 3004 imbalance zone, from which the growth may resume. HelenP. I Gold will rise a little more and then drop to $2985Hi folks today I'm prepared for you Gold analytics. After analyzing this chart, we can see that the price spent some time trading within a consolidation range before rebounding from the support zone to the upper boundary of this range. It then hovered around this area for a while before starting to decline. In a short time, the price dropped to the trend line, breaking through Support 2 and exiting the consolidation phase. Following this, the price reversed from the trend line and began to rise, soon reaching Support 2 again, breaking above it, and consolidating near this level. Later, it broke below the trend line and declined toward the support zone. After that, Gold made a strong upward impulse toward Support 1, also breaking the trend line. Shortly after, it breached Support 1 and traded within the support zone for some time before resuming its upward movement. However, I anticipate that XAUUSD will rise slightly before reversing and dropping back to the support level, breaking the trend line. Based on this scenario, my goal is set at 2985 level. THE KOG REPORT - Update End of day update form us here at KOG: We'll stick with the FOMC plan where we wanted this to tap into that 3050-55 region and give us a potential RIP. After a few attempts at breaking it gold failed and gave us the move we wanted back down into the lower level where we protected and managed trades. For now, due to the range and accumulation, we will keep an eye on the immediate levels and wait for Excalibur to confirm the direction. Until then, nice trade from above, another entry came from 3040 which was todays' bias below level completing at the red box. Friday tomorrow, so we'll take it easy and only if there is a decent set up will we get involved with Gold. Todays super star trade was DOW and BTC. As always, trade safe. KOG

GOLD holds above $3,000, aiming for weekly targetOANDA:XAUUSD continues to recover and maintain an upward trend, as uncertainty over the Trump administration's tariff policy has boosted safe-haven demand. Meanwhile, the market is focusing on US inflation data due this week to further determine the path of interest rates. Tariff and inflation concerns have fueled safe-haven buying, with gold up more than 15% this year US President Donald Trump said on Monday that tariffs on imported cars were coming, but hinted that not all of the threatened tariffs would take effect on April 2 and that some countries could be exempted. This is sure to raise concerns that if the tariffs are officially implemented, they could push up inflation and stifle economic growth, so investment flows in the market have shifted to traditional safe-haven assets such as gold for allocation. Gold has always been considered a hedge against inflation and macroeconomic instability. Since the beginning of the year, the price of gold has increased by more than 15% and reached an all-time high of $ 3,057.21 / ounce on March 20. Market Focuses on PCE Inflation Data, Fed Maintains Dovish Expectations The market is now paying attention to the US Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index, which will be released on Friday. This index is considered the core data for the Federal Reserve to assess inflation trends and may provide further material for assessing the path of interest rate cuts this year. 1000 Pip move down imminent on GOLD?Golds rise this year has been extraordinary, moving around 4000 pips since the start of the year, and most recently powering straight through the previous ATH. I remain bullish on gold for the long term, but this move should so some correction. I am currently short aiming for the 2900 level - this level although over 1000 pip move, represents less than a .382 retracement of this years move, and also hits a nice .618 retracement from the breakout of the previous ATH. Invalid if we close a new high.
