The only reason for the price of brent be at 45, is the stubbornness of some traders. It seems they can only sleep well if the brent is very expensive. We can not forget that there is still an excess of production and that´s good. So prices will drop and we all pay less for petrol.

The Dollar is getting stronger, the oil price is bearish and so the CAD is is losing strength. The price probably will reach the old resistance line at 1.3800 before continuing the descent.

Here is a comparison between the Brent oil prices and the GBPJPY pair in 2015 and early 2016. As the Brent hit a resistance / support at 42, it is likely that the GBPJPY pair also go down.
