Well folks, it happened today. TSLA went crazy. And I missed it. Well, most of it. I was watching it like a hawk to break out of its coil yesterday. It didn't but I knew it could today, but due to some others that were losers right off the bat for me this morning, I wasn't paying enough attention to remember how big of a deal a break would be. I did manage to buy...
Some volume came in this morning for a nice green day, keeping this coil formation nice and tight. I'm in october 6 calls in anticipation of the semi truck announcement (which is said to be happening this month). Still early, may not break the coil to the upside yet, but I like my chances with the bull market still strong. Tomorrow I'll be watching for a weak open...
Great day for FB. Looking to buy sep 8 calls on any quick dip under 173 in morning (as long as it doesn't gap up too high). Huge potential to keep running over 174.5 tomorrow and to new all time highs. High risk, but high potential reward.
This coil is gonna go big one way or the other very soon. Hoping for that to be tomorrow off a weak open. My play is to spend $50-100 on sep 8 calls(probably 170 strike, possibly 167.5) on any pullback, risk to 0, sell for a minimum of 100%, depending on the chart. A break of 167.89 (today's high) is a good add spot, then above 168.58 another add which could pop...
Recent news has led to an increase in volume off a higher low. Has potential to break 1.94, then 2. Enter below 1.94, risk under newly formed "base," approx 1.80. Target 2.15+. Volume isn't crazy high relatively, but with a breakout it could begin a parabolic move. I could be too early, but I'm willing to take the small risk. Weed stocks could get a boost very...
A negative article smacked PETS down over 40% in just a few weeks. Since then it has leveled off and seems to be close to squeezing some shorts out. Volume has NOT confirmed a move, but price action has hinted at one, with the highest close (and first over 8 ema) since the final meltdown on 8/23. This isn't my most confident play, but I love the gains from these...
Nice volume today and breakout of coil. In for a swing with risk to 2.85.
Broke 2.50 today. Entered at 2.51 for the swing. Huge volume from block buys the last few days. Stop around 2.40 with potential reward 2.65-2.75. Watch 2.55 tomorrow. Big next spot. Touched it today but couldn't get through.
Seems to have formed a bottom support around 1.48. Breaking through falling wedge pattern drawn on a bit of volume. Lots of eyes on this for a reversal. Good entry here at 1.59/60 with risk at low of day, or 1.48 support area. Potential reward 1.75ish.
No specific plan here, just watch this pennant formation. These have been going off often (see AUPH, OREX) recently.
Cup formed support on previous resistance, then a handle has formed from that, with a clear breakout level at 2.15. Big volume today, also call sweeps as mentioned by @stt2318 and @sandman7591 on twitter. Could get exciting tomorrow... Entry at 2.16 if it hits, with risk to $2, potential reward 2.35-45 range, with a huge gap above 2.38. I'm in early technically...
Ascending triangle forming. Not much volume right now, but don't let yourself miss this if it breaks 2.85 on expanding volume. Risk to 2.65, potential reward to 3.30 range
Breaking out of falling wedge pattern on decent volume. Still early, but over 4.80 could catch momentum. Risk to low of day or 4.40 range, reward potential to 5.20 area
Broke a bull flag on the daily a few days ago, now forming a nice ascending triangle. No clear breakout price, but I'd say over 2.61 intraday on expanding volume or a close above 2.61 for a swing trade. Risk to 2.40 with a large gap to fill, but based on history, reward potential/price target up to 3.25
Great coil over past 3 months. More recently the trend of higher lows has tightened. Today, on higher relative volume , it closed higher than it has in a month, and outside of coil I've drawn which shows downward trend of closes. Risk to below the new tighter trendline (.99), reward to 1.25/30 minimum based on width of recent tighter coil. In my opinion, based on...
