I am waiting for the price to break and close above the resistance of the pattern. Keep it simple.
Major Falling Wedge + Potential Ascending Triangle + Cup and Handle pattern. Wave 3-5 in the Ascending Triangle are forming what "could be" a Cup and Handle pattern. The pattern is valid only if the price breaks and close above the resistance. Will trade this based on the rules. The dream: Trail stopping and scaling in.
Wont present my stop-loss. Elliot Wave Theory stockcharts.com
Wont post my entry. Post exits after confirmation. Remember to adapt if these plans change. stockcharts.com
4hr chart clean Ascending Triangle: Stop-Loss: On the chart. Entry: Either on the 20EMA or the break of a pattern through resistance 1. Exit: Trailing the dips. Holding till I get stopped out.
NOTE TO SELF: This stock is pretty much moving under the radar due to its low 30 day avarage volume. Looks like a strong uptrend though.
*Adjusted from a "wedge" to a "down channel" pattern. *The Support of the channel pattern meets the 61.8% fibonacci support.
The ultimate break out is of course at the all time high but it now breaking out of a Bull-Pennant. Crazyness...
Wow wow wow. Did not enter yet. I hope the price picks up the order at the dip but if it doesn't, there is always the ultimate entry - the break-out. These are a few stocks that I also like to trade when Bitcoin and Ethereum are bullish - $BTSC, $GAHC, $BITCF.
I like the consolidation periods.
Lets figure this out! Drop in with some ideas... Almost started a small $SPY put position today but checked my self - due to PPT. $$ is tanking too.
Entered $17.62 (a bit undiciplined) and will stop out at $17.42. If it actually do break out, i'll build up shares from $17.78 and hopefully cash out at $18.45. Current Pattern: Bull Pennant.
I would appreciate if the price made a confirmation retest at the support of $15.5 (thats where i'd enter). I would also wait for the price to test the high a few times and enter on the break out if the price doesnt come down to the support level. *If it goes against my trading plan, I'd stop-out below the support of the Flag Pennant.
