Solid move on really good data, this company has a bright future, now to see if they do an offering.
So far, poor news on both the pill and another HIV trial leading to a downgrade...so the January $100's have been beaten down pretty bad. The original thesis was based on news on approval of the COVID pill which the EU is meeting on this week. Will wait for that then reassess...
Starting with some same week $300's at $2.33, if we move into the end of the day I'll sell the topside $310's and ride a call spread for the week.
Relative strength, beaten down since the offer to buyout around $70/share, plenty of upside in the holiday season for a rebound. All pending market settling a bit and not completely capitulating.
One more COVID idea, could just grab some commons and wait to see if there is any merit to their Antiviral nasal spray. In on some commons at $4.40, will wait a few weeks to see if this catches any strength
Interested here on DIS, might find a next week flier, maybe next week $155 at $0.56
Showing relative strength today as well, still waiting for a real rebound. Sitting on some $330/$360 12/17 call spreads at $0.30, if we get a solid move next week I will close out
News out that the efficacy was only 30% vs 50% previously noted on the COVID pills, but...$100 calls are up today from 12/17 out...seems like something is up here...
Very nice day for TWLO on a very bad day...options are getting expensive, probably meaning that everyone is getting bullish on it to rebound hard. Maybe a $350/$400 January call spread at $3ish could sit out there for a month and let it decide a move back over $300
Trying a $50 1/21/22 call here around $1.05. I'll check back in a month
If we fail, thinking it will be market driven from here. Looking at some call spreads for Jan
This is still an infrastructure bill play, with some positive news and solid market we could get a nice run to year end.
This is going to be almost entirely news based, so it could fall back to the upper $70's while we wait for any news on the COVID pill. The January $100 calls will give me time to just sit and wait.
Now that we have consolidated once again between $10-$11, I am going to start looking for a Jan/Feb call play idea
Mostly in cash, but going to play a downside hedge on spy with an 11/26 $365 at $0.42. I'll leave it out there while I set up some plays tomorrow. Not sure I trust things right now.
Merck getting further along with their partnership on COVID treatments in pill form. This could be next year's Moderna...might need to grab a leap.
$210/$225 12/3 call spread at $0.35, just a few to see if we catch a move back to $200 by end of week...
Still looking for a gap fill down to the low $900's by end of year...
