After the airline cancellations I fully expected this to drop hard sub $200, today airlines and this are holding better that I expected. On watch for end of the year. Would like over $200 to end the year, ideally $210+, then start a rally in 2022 assuming COVID subsides...
Still going to keep coming back to this if we go long. Been playing both sides lately, but yesterday I entered a calendar spread that I turned into a call spread today $197.50/$210 call spread for 12/31. Also grabbed $200 calls at $1.02 before close today. If this can continue the next two days, any call spread into the end of the year could be solid. No reason...
Could try a call spread and put spread together here, this is a key pivot point. Will be interesting if this can rally through end of week or just completely lose support...
Trying a few 12/31 $6 calls at $0.25, this has potential to pop again. Looking for biotech plays into year end...
Nice set up here, might get a Xmas rally on biotech
Then I think it's a big short. If this can't hold a positive move like that, I'm leaning more downside now. Small risk, $220 put for 12/31/21 at $0.96. See if we get capitulation now. If not, might grab a call spread.
Closed everything else out, not sure of market direction right now with OPEX. Entered a strangle for 1/21/22 $220 call/$150 put for $2.10. Will wait until after Christmas to reassess. Taking next week of, good luck all!
After closing out the $200 12/31 calls yesterday, I wanted a play that gave me a chance if this kept moving, but protected myself to the downside. Grabbed a $190 put, with some $195 call lottos. Closed the $190 put at $7.00 from $1.80, over all solid play.
Yesterday liked the daily set up and wanted to take one more flier on the $77 calls if it ran. Grabbed them at $0.18, closed in the morning on the pop at $0.60. 233% profit
I have followed this stock since it was in the $2's..my wife still have hundreds of shares with a sub $3 average. The technical set up was there, bought $12's at $0.16 yesterday, currently going for over $1...but I close out early this morning with all my other trades and didn't get the run
Yesterday saw this name as one that still hadn't showed weakness in a market that was fading, grabbed a $2,850/$2,800 put spread at $2.35. Set a sell order so I didn't need to manage at $15.00, it got filled on the drop this morning. Probably could have gotten more...
Closed all puts this morning at $170. Earlier in the week I had $175 puts that I closed for a gain, this recap is from yesterday's $172.50 puts I grabbed. After the pop in the morning failed, I grabbed $172.50 puts at $1.00, before end of day I sold the $167.50's for $0.52, so net put spread was only $0.48 cost. Closed this morning the spread at $1.90 when $AAPL...
Updated to show the consolidation happening here, biotech stock that has many pipeline drugs and has potential to make big moves...we'll see how this resolves.
Next week $230 puts and $300/$320 call spread I'm taking a try at into tomorrow and Monday next week. Short week 12/23 but waiting for the next move.
Looking for a reasonable set up for a call, this on one I like to maybe move back to $14...
Again, just in case this is sell the news, $15/$15.50/$16 calls all could come in play here...grabbed a few $16 calls at $0.28 for fun
What if this rolls over here, what if we sell the news and $QQQ stays week into Friday...then maybe a $2,850/$2,800 put spread at $2.35 could be a trade for the day into tomorrow...not sure yet
This does not have to move this week, but the more it consolidates, the more I think we could get a pop soon. Might have to watch my $300 call die, we'll see tomorrow, added a $260 put at $0.58 just in case as well...
