An interpretation of price movement as an Elliott motive wave
Having mapped the motive (5-wave, green) + corrective (3-wave, red) structures through-out the correction, they seem to be painting an Elliott Wave 'Double-Three' structure (possibly a triple-three but that would take a while longer to confirm). This is comprised of a corrective wave 'W' followed by an inverted corrective 'X' and finally a non-inverted 'Y'. I came...
Kennedy channels (red) plotted for all deceleration trajectories. Recently established base channel plotted in blue. Lower octile (dark blue) of the base channel providing major support.
My current architectural interpretation of the 15m domain. Not predictive, purely for my own reference.
Price is about to meet the apex of deceleration and acceleration-shadow channels (circled). Watch that space!
Kennedy channelling used to infer EW structure. wave 4 in progress. Grey circled area indicates probable bounce territory. Blue circled area = probable target.
Candidate wave 1+2 complete. wave 3 next?
Inferred acceleration channel based upon confluence with previous price structures. Entry @ 78.6% retracement.
Elliott wave count inferred using Kennedy channelling and momentum. Wave 1, 2 inferred from initial 2010 peak to 2011 retracement low. Wave 3 inferred from acceleration channel peak Wave 4 inferred from retracement low following acceleration channel failure Wave 5 inferred from momentum divergence and failed acceleration channel re-entry
Will the triangle apex signal the end of the bear market? We'll have to wait and see!
X marks the spot for a high-probability bounce for a W2 in progress
1, Wave 4 inferred from acceleration channel floor penetration (X). 2, W4 completion price inferred from confluence of all of the following: * Base channel upper support * Deceleration channel centre * Acceleration shadow channel centre * Wave 3 38.2% price retracement 3, Wave 5 inferred form estimated W4 end + 100% wave 1
Long trade on a speculative wave 2 low inferred from confluence of base channel shadows.
Base Channel with shadows (adjacent parallel channels) for the recent wave 1 candidate. Loci indicated by circles.
A first attempt at mapping Kennedy channels using the Fib channel tool. Blue = base. Green = Acceleration. Red = Deceleration. Circles = channel loci.
