The issues I have is their margin requirements don't seem to line up. I had 2K in my acct. and it wouldn't let me trade 2 mini contracts. Maybe I don't understand, but I didn't like it. Plus it takes a week to get a deposit in your acct. and that is using wire transfer, the quickest method they claim. They deduct from your bank acct. and it still takes 3 days to get the $ available to trade. That's why I am currently shopping for a new broker.

Higher service fees, commissions, connection fees and margins than other futures brokers. They even charge for using their own trading software, which is odd. However, customer service is decently responsive. Even the base commission is >30% higher than other brokers. Micro margin requirements are >3x higher as well. Wire withdrawal charges are also 33% higher.

We’re not quite sure what “service fees” you’re referring to. Optimus Futures does not charge any platform fees for Optimus Flow, nor do we impose hidden costs. Our commissions operate on a sliding scale — traders with higher volumes often receive better pricing, a feature not all brokers offer.

Additionally:

CME charges for market data — this is standard across all brokers.

CQG charges for connectivity, a common practice among those using professional-grade routing systems.

Having a position with max possible contract size results in no possibility to close the position with "close" with brackets (tradingview) instead you have to move the sl or tp bracket to get out of the trade! That's not intuitive and bad UI experience.

Decent value for the money, but you have to pay for any additional add-ons such as DOM.
