Would rate higher if I was able to take short posiitons through tradingview and not have to go to Questrade directly. Amount of time it takes, your position is lost.

many features are missing. for example instant orders and limit bracket orders in pre-market.

Instant ORDERS, DOM, drag & drop line take profit & stop loss would be essential

How is it possible that a limit sell order set at 107.47 got filled at 108.72? Every time I set a stop-loss using a limit order, I end up praying it doesn't execute immediately at the current price instead of waiting for my specified level. Considering switching to another broker.

trade execution not instant. I talked to Questrade support and they told me : I do apologize, however, it may be an error message from their side as instant orders and options trading are the two limitations we have from our side. Questrade seems not have a plan to fix this very important issue.

No customizable fast execution hotkeys for trading ( lost opportunity in fast moving stocks), no instant order placement available via Trading View ( again lost opportunity on fast moving stock price). We need to be able to enter and exit a trade in a matter of fraction of a second, while it takes at least 10 seconds to enter and exit on trading view saying instant order placement is not supported by your broker. This time taking order placement causes loss or giving back the profit, most of the time. You need to add this features if want to be competitive in the market. Appreciate you made it commission free, though.

Good broker overall. The only major negative is that they don't have instant order placements and all orders have to be entered manually and can't be executed by hot key or instant buy button.

No commissions, easy and intuitive interface, access to higher options level trading strategies, access to all Canadian and American market trading and some great 3rd party apps like OptionsPlay.

Can't trade options via Trading view... not good

Just opened a LIF and margin acoount with Questrade already regretting my decision on the margin account. Want to use Tradingview software and Questrade does not allow instant fills with out confirmation. Makes it useless for my daytrading margin account. When I contacted support they insist it is a Tradingview issue but it is not. They should know that why insist it is ? Also took 3 months to move a LIF account over from TD was the most frustrating process I have ever dealt with on transfering a acoount. Was not all Questrade's fault but they have people labeled as account transfer specialist that should have anticipated a few different things that caused long delays.
