Just learning but TastyTrade has made everything easy. Their customer service has been willing to help me get all my ducks in a row. Looking forward to grown mt account.
There is no option for bracket orders on the chart and the execution and speed are awful. Several orders timed out while sending and I missed trades because of it.
TP and SL are clunky. Doesn't show my current profit or loss. Appears as a 0.00 USD
Best Broker for Options Trading
Great broker
Great Customer Service
Thank you for your 5-star review! We're thrilled you had a great customer service experience. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we look forward to continuing to serve you with the same dedication!
Executing orders has a lot of lag and it isn't always loading on trading view. I have to refresh multiple times for it to show.
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the issues you are experiencing when trying to place and manage your orders and the loading issues with TradingView. Our API is fast and reliable with nearly instant connection speeds; the issues you're experiencing stem from TradingView's charting technology. We are actively working on a solution with the TradingView team and appreciate your patience while we resolve these performance challenges. If you are able to capture a video or provide additional details on the issues you are experiencing, please send it to api.support@tastytrade.com.
Just don't know if its my computer or what but trying to execute trades is complete crap. Set buy stops that fail to show up on screen, try and cancel orders and get messages that say can not cancel. Profit and loss box does not keep up with the AMT. Just complete crap for now. Will keep trying but for now it is ridiculous how slow a response I get. When using paper trading act, all trades post and cancel with ease.
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the order management and chart loading issues. Our tests confirm that our API speeds are reliable, so the issues appear to originate from TradingView's charting functionality. We're working with their team to resolve this ASAP. Please send a video or additional details of the issue to api.support@tastytrade.com if possible. Thank you for your patience as we work to get all this fixed!
Great platform on their own desktop. Thought I would try trading options through Trading View API... I see Buy and Sell, but haven't figured out if this is for Shares or also Options...I'll explore...
Thank you for your review! We're pleased to hear you enjoy our desktop platform. Regarding the TradingView integration, it currently only supports shares, ETFs, and outright futures contracts. We understand the importance of options trading and are actively working to add this functionality to our TradingView integration very soon. We appreciate your patience as we continue to enhance our offerings and hope you enjoy exploring the current capabilities in the meantime!
Great customer service.
Thank you for your positive feedback about our great customer service!
First off, I love tastytrade and owe that brand so much. However, my problem is due to the laggy executions through TradingView compared with other brokers that are instantaneous on TV including adjusting trades and stops. Since I prefer using TradingView, I will no longer be connecting to tastytrade until improvements are made.
Thank you for the 5-star review!
I'm happy to have access to TradingView charts via Tasty, but was disappointed to see they didn't add the drag-and-drop SL/TP tools (and live values) like TradingView's paper trading chart tool.
Thank you for your feedback on our TradingView integration. We're glad you're enjoying access to TradingView charts via tastytrade! Regarding the drag-and-drop SL/TP tools you mentioned, please note that we do not currently support market orders for take profits and stop losses, which is why that drag-and-drop functionality doesn't appear. You will need to place a limit order or stop limit order for those tools to become available. We appreciate your patience as we continue to enhance our platform features!

Thank you for your review! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us.
So much potential. Truly a fantastic broker. Great fills, and customer support is the best in the business. They don't charge commissions for stocks, but they do pass on the clearing fee. Good data outputs too; nice csv exports. US-based, so I'm comfortable making large deposits, and communicate productively with support. The problem is with the TradingView integration. The UI lags so hard. Orders are extremely slow to drag or cancel, and I am constantly missing entries and exits because of it. Below are some examples that illustrate lost opportunities due to lag, based on real experiences. 1. You are in a stock long with an average fill of $2.50. You place a limit sell at $2.75. The stock starts to reverse at $2.70 and head back for $2.50. You drag your limit below $2.70 to catch it -> LAG. You miss the opportunity and now it's crossing entry and you want out. You try to sell, but "a closing order already exists" -- (the limit). You cancel the limit so you can exit -> LAG. By the time you're out, the price has slipped 10% past your intended exit. Your lips curl as you start to pronounce the letter 'F'... 2. You want to enter a stock long at $2.50 so you put a limit buy at $2.50. The stock bounces at $2.52 and starts to rise without you. You drag your limit above the current price to enter at market -> LAG. You miss your entry and get left behind. What if instead of dragging, you just canceled and bought at market with the hot key? You cancel the limit -> LAG. You hit the hotkey, but by the time the limit clears and the hotkey order goes through, you fill high and are left vulnerable. Why not leave the limit and buy market? Because, if the stock reverses, you need to get out of the way fast, and if you leave the limit, will only have more LAG between you and the diving stock price, when it does reverse. If the UI gets snappy, this earns a solid 5 stars. Until then, it's an active impediment to trading success.

The detailed scenarios you've shared are valuable insights into the performance challenges. Our team is actively working with TradingView to improve responsiveness and eliminate these delays that impact your trading success. We're committed to resolving these issues quickly to provide the exceptional trading experience you deserve. Please send any screenshots, videos, or additional details on these issues to api.support@tastytrade.com as we work to get all this fixed!
