From the logarithmic/big picture perspective, ADA is setting up a nice cup and handle. At the time of this publishing it's up 655% (Wow!) for the year. Is an imminent move to $5.00 likely? Almost certainly not. Is the long term (3 to 10 year) outlook for Cardano's price promising? Probably....if you the individual decide to invest in the near term with the full knowledge that you are investing in an inherently volatile market with money that you decide you can afford to lose.
I'd like to see ADA return to and HOLD above $1.90 before there are serious considerations it is going to hit a new ATH. Is ADA headed to >$1.50 tomorrow (12/17)? Probably not, but I could be wrong. BTC hitting 100k in the next 12 months could be the rising tide that lifts all boats.
I think ADA's price right now is at a discount (again, from the 3 to 10 year perspective), I believe in the direction Cardano's technology is moving, the culture the founder promotes (he's not trying to pump the price, he doesn't care about the meme coins, he's just a rich nerd with the ambition and drive to help the world), and the epic roadmap that lays out the development of ADA. I believe that the dual low transaction fees on the Cardano network and the green marketing campaign behind ADA's PoS will be more appealing (relative to ETH and BTC) to institutional and green orientated investors.

If you want 100x gains in the next 2 weeks, ADA is not for you.
It's probably wise to spread out your total investment into crpyto. I favor the 2-week recurring purchases to average out the price as opposed to one large, lump sum.
Let's start seeing relative strength again before seriously considering new and dramatic ATHs.
Think of the long term, only invest what you can afford to completely lose, do your own research.
