BTC hasn't been able to stay above the 50-D for more than a a week since the summer of 2018. Since Sep 2018, the price hasn't been able to stay above the average for more than 1-3 days. The initial move up 8 Feb broke above it for only a few minutes, then retreated below. As I write this, the price is $10-$20 below the MA. Moving and staying above the 50-D for a week would be a real show of strength.
