Watching...Waiting

Updated
When sailing on the open seas, Capt. S S and Seagull spent a lot of time waiting...
Watching the weather...the wind would give patterns & signals.

Old Capt. used his many years of experience, remembering the how the sailing was when the winds were similar and from which direction.
Seagull could just feel it in his blood.
They agreed and they disagreed. Sometimes they were both right and sometimes they were both wrong.
Capt. S S always plotted his course on the Navigational Charts based on how the wind was and how he thought it would be.
He knew the importance of having a plan and of having a back-up for when the first plan wasn't working out.
They always had to think about "What if?"
They both knew how dangerously powerful the wind could be. No matter what they thought tomorrow would bring, the weather could suddenly change and they would have to adjust their plans quickly.
