After having travelled sideways for weeks BTC is finally making a move breaking out above it upper Bollinger and above its previous horizontal resistance.
Is this the start of a new run? Too soon to tell. Will it need a pull back to retest that resistance area and begin to use it as support - also too soon to tell.
I'd like to see it get to 31K and see if it starts to trigger many if any stop losses that short holders might have placed up around there.
One to watch...
Note
Might be good to keep an eye out for a break of trend to the downside.
Note
Chart fixed.
Note
Got another green candle open.
Note
Still hasn't dropped back to test that resistance area yet and RSI still running pretty high. Be interesting to see if it drops or not. I think it would make sense for a pullback just to better build for a bigger move up down the track but so far holding up surprisingly well.
Note
Finally getting our retest of this area. Will be interesting to see if it bounces and it becomes support, or if it falls through and continues to drop.
Note
Still holding which could be good.
Note
Tongue-in-cheek post - def not trading advice, but we got that bounce. See if it holds and goes anywhere. Good retest though.
Note
Big bounce, but with a big range.
Note
Got a hint of green. Will it bounce here?
Note
Broken back up above the old support, how long will it run for?
Note
Still travelling sideways. Be interesting to see if which way it breaks the wedge.
Note
Finally a breakout on what was looking very bearish shorter term.
Note
Wonder if we are building up to another move like previous run up. MACD looks interesting. Showing some strength. Whole thing could of course reverse tomorrow with how uncertain it has all been lately.
Note
All is good with the world again. MACD still showing upside even if the RSI is running hot.
Note
Back in a tough resistance area looking at the bigger picture. Hopefully a push through and consolidation before the next moves up but not sure what any catalyst for such a move would be. Could just as likely retrace back to 25k.
