CBA extreme downside risk

2024 dividend per share annual, $4.65. Current share price $159.03 If you are an investor you are paying 34.2 times the div return with substanstial risk. Should you choose to put the $159.03 into a 5% term deposit with zero risk your return will be $7.95 being nearly double the return with zero risk. The market maker has a sense of humour, thats for sure. "Banking" pun intended , on the fact that "you as a retail trader cant price risk or value", dont be fooled, not finacial advice but if you own you can sell, if you dont you can stay away, if you are going to short you have some big ba....s. but it might be worth it if you have deep pockets and time :) Good luck all and happy trading Note
CBA looks a little wobbly....
Some data drops today and 0.8% GDP growth yoy, very weak numbers indeed, declining slowly towards recession. For interest sake please check out the AUBR "Australian Bankruptcies chart". From 1st March 2024 to current it is up 123.46% Dont take my word for it check it out for yourself. Happy trading and good luck.
Trade active
If you have been following the trade, I'm selling into these rallys. Still some upside potential given technicals as per the chart but fundementals tell a very different story. The downside risk is enormous. Next couple of months will be up down and all around before earnings, lots of chart manipulation. Earnings might meet expetations, ( which will be lowered) dont get sucked in, its not worth the money full stop. Look at accumulating FMG under $16.69 Yancoal under $5.25.
