Lucid Motors will be using this vehicle $[CCIV]> to go public and the share price has since tanked. Having had done research into future EV growth I can say this could be a great speculative play in the near term, as the price has broken it's pattern.

Long this and NIO.
Note
By "could" I mean "is" and by near term... asap.

+400 @ 20.46

Bought another 190 shares on this dip and added call options

+100 @ 19.64 on friday
Note
No changes. Bullish wedge. snapshot
Note
+50 @ 18.15
Note
Reducing position by half on market open. Long term bullish but the timing is unclear so I'm reallocating some of this position.

-250 @ market open
Note
STEM is an excellent play in EVs (and solar) infrastructure. Charging stations cannot be implemented without software to manage demand peaks and usage. Otherwise money is lost. The chart looks like it's offering value so this is where some of the CCIV money is going into. snapshot
Note
As well as HASI snapshot
Note
STEM is now at resistance but now has a price target at $30 from Goldman Sachs. I'm holding for a breakout. snapshot
Note
Lucid taking it's sweet time... Momentum is creeping up and waiting for a catalyst. Breaking 21.10 is the signal. snapshot
Note
1st resistance hit after a breakout. Could get choppy around here but the MACD is indicating momentum will inevitably take price higher. snapshot
Note
STEM is outperforming and this position is up roughly 65%. I've taken some profit but given this strength, it looks like this move has legs. Should be some selling around 35 if it gets there. Long term this is still an excellent play on EVs. Buying the dips snapshot
Trade closed: target reached
Closing my STEM position for about 85% gain and will wait and see what happens at this resistance level. Looking for the next pullback to reload. snapshot
Note
CCIV starting to get some momentum finally so still going to hold a decent position. Looking at that 30 level for now. snapshot
Note
STEM's MACD is getting over extended and CCIV is still ramping up.
Note
Here's another solid one for the EV/solar play. Southern Copper miners (SCCO) is following the fibs perfectly. Now it looks like another leg up will happen once it has time to consolidate or possibly pullback. I bought this earlier this year and sold for a big gain but way too early. Now that it's taking a break it's time to start watching again. Plus they offer a sizable dividend on this. snapshot
Note
HASI coming through on schedule. Little bit of noise at resistance likely but at some point this should continue drifting up into the end of the year. snapshot
Note
HASI was at the first resistance. I'm selling on the open. Fair value for HASI is $36 with it's current projected 8% earnings growth rate. snapshot
Note
Quick update on STEM, CCIV, and HASI

STEM
Price got rejected at resistance. Now I would look for a supportive daily candle to show signs of bottoming before accumulating another position. Earnings are coming up and should cause a lot of volatility before traders decide on a direction. Being patient with this one is the best play but I might buy small amounts on more dramatic dips. Goldman increased price target to 34. No position. snapshot

CCIV
Lucid has a lot of attention and promise. Honestly I expect price to drop after the LCID conversion. I also expect exciting news to be released at some point. A cheaper model, or a partnership, or something. Even if this technical setup falls apart due to market forces I think it would be a buying opportunity. Still holding a full position. snapshot

HASI
It's too early to tell but this last move up could be a higher low on a 2 wave correction. The company is overvalued at this price so it would make sense and why I took profits on this one. It's better to be patient and wait for some stability before repositioning. No position. snapshot
Note
Well that didn't work as planned. Buying panic gap. snapshot
Note
It's been quite a ride. Time to cash in?
