Copper could easily pop to $6,7,8,9,10 per pound in a very short time frame. Part of that equation is how worthless the dollar is. Most of the equation is just how useful copper is.
At this point, it's purely a basis of mathematics. Human civilization needs copper. It's scarce. Recycling isn't cheap. I could go on and on and on about this.
