EU Buys

Updated
EU still overall bullish. The pair has broke and retested above the 1.1000 psychology level, indicating a possible continuous bullish push. The DXY is on a bearish descend, fundamentals are pointing towards a long range target of 1.1500 while sentiment is 64% short, providing a further confluence for bullish movement. Looking for a retracment either into the 1hr institutional candle or preferably into the 4hr institutional candle. EURUSD

Note
Scaling into the 15min TF, EU has reached the 1hr buy zone during pre New York session. It perfectly tapped into the 1.10100 psych level. Before an entry is made, want to wait for a bullish break of structure to be created that indicate that the zone/support will hold. Do not want to catch a falling knife.

Note
Both the 1hr and 4hr zones did not hold as the DXY had very strong bullish rally, possibly due to 10am positive USD orange folder news (new home sales increased), causing XXXUSD pairs to tank lower.
As mentioned above, 1hr entry was not ideal until there was a BOS structure to go higher, which we did not receive. The same thing applied once it reached the 4hr Zone as it did not hold or create any structure.

Sitting on hands and will allow price to develop for another possible entry as it appears that there is an internal bullish trend. However, with support not holding, showing strong bearish pressure, and downside liquidity forming. The pair is still overall bullish and would like to see if the pair will retrace lower to grab liquidity and return the next zone of interest for an ideal buy entry

Note
After re-analyzing the market and allowing price to develop during the Asian session. Found a 1hr Zone and noticed a bit of consolidation on the smaller TF, did not re-enter since I was unsure if zone would hold or tank lower. So wanted to wait till NY session, for BOS and possible entry to go higher. However, it decided to run bullish during the London session, reaching TP at 1.10600. So the internal bullish trend did hold and liquidity was not swept below.

This setup would have been a great 1:3-1:4 RR with little to no drawdown

Note
Just to add further insight into the precision of smart money trading, price reacted perfectly within the 50% body of the 1hr institutional candle before taking off to the sky. This was premium pricing for entry.
