LTC UP. But Why

Ok so LTC is going up, there is no news right. My oldest Son who is not a financial sage by any stretch out of nowhere told me he is buying LTC. This made me think what the hell is going on.
My Son doesn't do investing.
So I asking you guys who know way more than I. Do You Think LTC is the next coin to be pumped.
Are you guys hearing of any attempts to pump it.
