Raytheon - Buy The Dip - Sell the Trend

233
Raytheon had a nice earnings beat and the price took a tumble. Hopefully we will see a return to the previous growth trend (shown with Linear Regression @ 250 four-hours).
I've seen two articles on Seeking Alpha screaming the same thing I am:
BUY THE DIP!

The 'rate of change' graph shows RTN rate of change vs. SPY rate of change. It's just a script I'm working on right now.

It looks as if Raytheon RTN has continued to climb since yesterday.

Still has not quite crossed over the Linear Regression line (250 day), but I think I'll close out and take profits around $215.00 or so, whenever that comes. I'll want to consider future moves after that point.

Still holding a few of my calls. Most of my profits are already made. I'm going to hold out for a bit and see where she moves. I previously mentioned I'd sell around $215, but I'm not sure now...thinking of holding a bit longer while this political turmoil brews.
Trade active
Continuing on with holding my RTN calls today -- I think I'll re-evaluate later in the trading day as to whether I hold over the weekend or not.

Turmoil in Iran/Israel due to President Trump's decisions regarding the Iran Nuclear Deal are looking like a catalyst for defense sector stocks right now. I'm going to hold out looking for an opportunity to sell my $230 6/15/18 calls whenever it seems right.
Trade active
Time decay kicking in, absolutely killing my 6/15 calls. I'm holding them to see what happens. I made most of what I wanted out of this already, so I'll let these last few ones go whenever it seems right.
Trade active
Still getting slaughtered on those 6/15 calls on RTN so I'm just going to hold them until a reasonable peak forms. It appears to be coiling, so hopefully it jumps in time.
Trade active
Still feeling the heat. Since there's not much equity left, I'm going to continue holding because I'm curious. Kind of like when you're playing poker and you call your buddy's bluff cause you want to see if he's full of it.
