Ubiq is a fork of ethereum which aims to be its most stable and secure variant. The gas prices are cheap and the dev team is incredible, with new integrations nearly weekly.
There are a lot of reasons for blockchain and smart contract developers to favor ubiq over ethereum, and even more so ethereum classic.
My fundamental "summing the gods" view on the matter is that ubiq should be at least as highly valued as ethereum classic.
Ethereum's clear intent to switch to POS also indicates that a large hashrate will be dispersed onto various alt coins. While the likes of ZEC, ETC, and many others are looking good in this regard, Ubiq has some very significant upgrades to the difficulty algorithm modeled after bitshares that makes it a very attractive option for mining.
Here is the beginning of my tracking of this buy, even though I have *full disclosure* been closely watching the ubiq, and formally jumbucks community.

As btc pulls back from 6k, looks like the alts will take a run. Im looking at UBQ here for some serious gains in the coming weeks if btc gives us a nice retrace.Trade closed manually
