The ruble fell heavily after a large drop in oil prices. However, the central bank of Russia is starting to take action, and I think that this is an impulse fall, in which you can take a short position. However, the overall picture is a further drop in the price of the ruble.
Note
The border for a possible change in the dollar on the Moscow stock exchange has been raised to 76.395. You can try to work today from this border. Volatility should be good
Note
The Bank of Russia decided to start on 10 March 2020 a proactive sale of foreign currency on the domestic market as part of the implementation of the budget rule mechanism, taking into account the actual oil price and its impact on the operations of the National Wealth Fund (NWF) in April. These operations will be carried out until the start of regular sales of foreign currency from the NWF. This decision was made in order to increase the predictability of the monetary authorities and reduce the volatility of financial markets in the face of significant changes in the global oil market.
Note
The Moscow Exchange has called the upper limit of the possible dollar exchange rate at the level of 75.2125 rubles.
