On a friday morning, I was eager to trade the upcoming news by 1:30pm using my SMC strategy, by analyzing the pair the pair during London session and waiting to trade on the Asian session, and looking at the pair I found some liquidity which was identified with the broken trend line and also an imbalance above the liquidity which is supposed to draw price closer to my POI(point of interest) .
When the news got triggered it went toward the downside taking out downside liquidity and started moving towards the upside' which later triggered my sell order at 2063.51 4:20pm UTC and was held throughout the the rest of the day due to liquidity and was later closed on Monday after hitting my profit target at the next BOS(break of structure) at 2024.76 12:15pm UTC.
The total trade profit made was about 387.5 pips, risking only 19.3 pips about 35 RR(risk to reward)
