XAUUSD simple short within the range
Looks like it's trading within a range - apart from those two dirty candles but it came back straight back in - and has failed to break above the orange bar for a while. On the 15m timeframe, it has come back to this level so should hopefully double top from here and head back down to the lower end of the range.
Not decided whether I'm taking it yet but I am quite confident in it. Reluctant because I don't want to keep trying to catch reversals.

So I didnt take this trade because i got distracted with BTC but I'm glad I didnt. i wouldve entered too early. There was a bit of a pump at open but, once it came back within the range, it tested my level absolutely perfectly before heading down. Lesson; market open can be wild, wait for it to settle then retest.
