XRP vs BTC: Diminishing Returns

Not Financial Advice. Entertainment Purposes only.
MY OPINION.
XRP is a scam coin and if anyone at Ripple wants to pay me to shill it I certainly will. With the supposed mass adoption and overall usability and versatility you'd think the coin should be enjoying a relatively easy ascension above 40 cents USD or 5000 satoshis. Number 3 by marketcap last I looked, but prices seem to be nearly completely controlled by parent company and majority stake holder, Ripple. It must benefit them to keep the coin so cheap, and maybe there is a good reason for it. High volatility in something to be used as currency obviously has its issues. We could see a short spike up to the 7000 sats range, but I think each rally will be 50% or less of the previous one, until it is virtually a stablecoin.
Maybe not terrible to own, and probably some short term gains coming soon, but I wouldn't rely on it to make long term gains, especially when you could have your funds in more profitable coins. Every dollar held in XRP is money lost that wasn't invested into bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum, or even dogecoin.
